It will always happen, the robbery should have never happend. Nothing can be done. The irreversible damage to Golovkins career has been done. Canelo will never get credit in many fans eyes. Canelo did however squeak by with a decision in the trilogy fight that most all agree with.

Thats why GGG won almost the entire 2nd half of the fight.

He dominated that 3rd fight. GGG stood there doing practically nothing for most of the fight. And this proves that you are scoring with bias, to call a one-sided ass whooping Canelo squeaking by. Sure GGG came on towards the end and made a few rounds competitive but he did not come to fight. He came to survive. Had he came to fight he would have been hurt which is why he stood there refusing to engage.

It is, and it's not a laughing matter. It is for Canelo fans that got away with the crime.

Probably about as far as Al Hayman did for the Charlo's.

I know it is personal for you, and I'm sympathetic to you. I know how much GGG meant to you, but you shouldn't cry over spilt milk. GGG didn't fight the fight he promised the fans in the rematch. He criticized Canelo for not fighting Mexican Style but when Canelo came to fight in the rematch the warrior spirit of GGG was nowhere to be found. Maybe if GGG wouldn't have carried on about how Canelo fought the first time it may have turned out differently.

The Sanchez losing speech certainly provided some much needed urgency from GGG. GGG had more success in the late rounds but even with GGG stepping it up, the rounds were still too close for someone who needed a big turnaround after falling so far behind over the first 6-8 rounds.

If he came to fight he might have ko'd Canelo. It was close with GGG playing it safe.

LOL based on what? If he came even remotely close to KO'ing Canelo in the first 2 fights, maybe I'd buy that. He played it safe because he was scared and wasn't willing to risk it. The punishment he suffered in the rematch played on his psyche, clearly.

The warrior spirit was there. He won the first fight and was robbed of a victory, which is a known fact of history, and GGG rose to the challenge winning the championship rounds in the 2nd fight. The first half of the fight was extremely close, then GGG fought like a champion in the championship rounds. The story of the fight is Golovkin beat Canelo both ways. Golovkin can adjust and box when necessary, it's that simple.

I didn't find him behind at all through six, then Canelo started gaining a little steam, which changed in round 8, when Canelo realised that GGG isnt going anywhere and told Canelo to bring it. At that point Canelo kind of deflated a bit.

GGG was bigger and stronger af 168lbs and was unfazed by anything Canelo threw, Canelo only landed 10 more punches in the trilogy fight, thats it. Canelo was gassed and vulnerable the last few rounds. If GGG let it all hang out at that point he might have dropped Canelo.
