Quarry had ko'd Shavers 6 months previously and was on a 6 fight winning streak.

And? Shavers sucked, end of the road look at his record right afterwards… brutal career he had, short and sweet doe.

I find the anti-Foreman sentiment absolutely bizarre from people who clearly love the sport. Foreman gave us all more highlights and great memories than almost everyone before him or since.

Shavers was the number 8 ranked heavyweight in the strongest era for heavyweights ever.A couple of months earlier he had ko'd no 3 Ellis in1 round and before than Young in3 rds.

    You're an idiot!

He didn’t lose to anyone Danny Williams or Kevin McBride level though. As a matter of fact neither did Big George. Gee Tyson sucked lol.

Actually George didn’t get KO’d by someone weighing 185-190 pounds. Gee Joe Louis sucked too.

    No seethe here.

It’s actually fun making you look like the plank you are.

Tell me again how “skinny arm George” pales next to Tyson?

I mean Skinny arms has more KO’s than Tinkerbell had fights lol.

In what way? - I mean Tyson is the more proven, faster, and more skilled fighter whilst being “bigger” In muscle terms, not much between them in power either… I’d say he’d KO GF flat in a few rounds. What’s your question exactly?

He manhandled Foreman like a red headed step child. Have you ever been in the ring and tried to clinch or grab the head of a stronger opponent? It's not exactly easy. It's not some guaranteed escape from action. If the opponent is actually stronger, he's going to make you pay for playing his game . Ali had Foreman like a puppet on strings, maneuvering him as he pleased. He proved who was actually country strong in that ring.

That's what Foreman did by getting his arms free and spamming body shots. They just didn't work because no one takes body shots better than Ali does.

    No question.

Your (incorrect) opinion is just that. An (incorrect) opinion. When Tyson has admitted himself he doesn’t have the size and mass himself to hit like George, you arguing the toss about it means less than nothing.

But this is your extreme view and the hill you’ve chosen to die on re boxing discourse.

That said I’m still confused about Tyson being more proven. He didn’t KO anyone like Frazier or Norton (or even a Chuvalo level chin). What old, inactive Holmes and inactive bung legged Spinks? **** me. Talk about grasping.

Those wins are Tyson’s likely best unless we’re counting the drug addicts and obese paper titlists. Good names on paper (Thomas and Tubbs) but in reality less than what is hyped. Tyson was one of the all time great marketing jobs.
