Is your argument really "yeah but he didn't lose as badly!!!"? Ok.

Brook coming up in weight has 0 to do with GGG going up in weight

Ward KO6 is a laughable prediction

Floyd vs Clenelo was a draw according to one of the three judges

No matter how you spin it Floyd could not and was not good enough to beat Clenelo unanimously

You might be utterly convinced he dominated the fight but you would be wrong because 1 of the judge's scored it a draw

So the question is why wasn't Floyd good enough to beat Clenelo unanimously?

Why wasn't Roy Jones good enough to win Olympic gold?

Or maybe, just maybe they were but the judges in question were corrupt and we see fighters get robbed all the goddamn time in this sport

GGG's best win is the P4P#1 Clenelo

    He's an ATG
Granted he can't be among the very elite all time greats imo because he doesn't have the resume, but he dominated very good fighters for a number of years and was avoided by many early on

He was obviously comfortable at MW, but there where better names at SMW had he ventured above and it would have enhanced his legacy if he also dominated there

I have my opinion on who wins Ward vs GGG but this is not the thread for that. Now that the dust has settled I have to rate him pretty high all time

Canelo rightfully gets a lot of Cap for the robbery in the first fight, but I believe he should get more credit for stepping up and being competitive with GGG when many others weren't

I also think Canelo is an ATG and gets a bad rap on here, so GGG has one (maybe 2) wins over an ATG as Stevie Wonder could see he won the first fight

Ehhh yeah.... but Golovkin had the chance to avenge that loss and really get his revenge and the best he could do is lose closely which lets be honest was kind of a let down. Even if you're one of the people who think he won you can't act like that was some impressive ATG performance.

I swear most of y'all wouldn't even like GGG if he wasn't a hard-hitting Eastern European with a scary name lmao, bro got beaten up deal with it.

He was robbed in both fights. The 2nd one was close but he deserved to win it and Canelo jousted PEDs in his ass after the first fight because he knew he could never beat even a past prime GGG fairly in a rematch and thus became Clenelo or Hulknelo.

GGG was already past his prime by then and Clenelo was a great fighter in his prime, even without his PEDs

Fair but as far as ATG talk goes that rematch was his chance to have his ATG moment and join all the legends and he kind of blew it.

I don't think he did, as said, he deserved to get his hand raised and he was past his prime 36 going on 37 facing a prime 28 y/o Clenelo who had levelled up and transformed his body by jousting PEDs in his ass

I've always maintained that the prime and best GGG was the pre Able Sanchez trained one.

I think he also won the rematch, GGG was a little more timid. It was very close and wont argue with ggg winning. GGG did win the first fight which was competitive but clear

Golovkin only lost to Canelo when he 40 years old. He won the other two.
