Has a good interview with Tris Dixon where he gives a bit of an insight on what it's like to work with Dubois and his Dad. Credit to Charles he seems to have found a way to embrace the Dad. Worth a listen.
yes he’s found a way it’s called money although he’s so desperate he’s allegedly on a flat rate. Will give it a listen but as soon as he starts going on about god it’s going off
I remember listening to his interview with Tris on Boxing life stories Don is that guy that has done absolutely everything lol Can't take him seriously after that
Don Charles is a loud, obnoxious fella when things don't go his way. Listening to people pussyfoot around him as he spouts absolute tosh is always really painful. He and his soppy son's accusations and behaviour towards Usyk at one of the press conferences was right down there with John Fury at his oafish worst.
Where is the interview? On the channel now and can't find it. When I type his name in it doesn't come up either. @nurological please link the interview
I agree with you and about his son. I didn't mind Don bringing the religious stuff up with Usyk since I'm not religious and I think it's daft. I respect people's right to be religious but I don't respect religion, just like I don't respect the belief that unicorns or leprechauns exist.
Nah it’s more a case that in four fights under Don Charles, Dubois has found it impossible to give him any credit whatsoever and during the fights themselves, he ignores Don and just stares out of the ropes to his dad. Weird set up.
That's something I've been quite fascinated by. Incredibly odd. But that is different from "should be" like the guy said. It seems to be that Charles has done quite a good job, but it's hard to say from the outside. Certainly the last couple of years couldn't have good much better than they did. Will Dubois treat another trainer differently? If he did, it would be quite weird in itself.
