    Naturally bigger

Someone like Crawford has to bulk up is not as strong Madrimov who is naturally at that weight

    There's a reason Madrimov doesn't fight at 147

There should just be same day weigh ins or a limit to how much weight a boxer can gain from the time of the weigh in until fight time

    He's just not Shakur?

But you cannot back that up with anything of substance. I've explained to you all the things Loma has accomplished and done whilst having been the smaller or much smaller man most of the time and giving away huge physical advantages winning everything in his opponent's backyards or on the road in what would be his 4th, 5th and 6th weight class had he turned pro at the same age as the Amazing Shakur, facing a much higher level of opposition, way more world champions, much more punchers, vs world champions and top contenders who are 2-3 divisions heavier than him (or even 4 divisions heavier in Haney's case) with them very often having just under 6'' reach advantages, and whilst still being #3 on the plus minus after having been doing that and being past his prime for years

And facing 7 world champions at 135, all much or way bigger, in what would be his at least his 6th weight class had he turned pro at the same age as Shakur and a weight class he won three of the four belts in on the road and should be undisputed in after getting robbed in the backyard of one of the biggest weight bullies in the sport who had a obscene size advantage over him, 20lbs in weight and almost 6'' in reach and a huge youth advantage

All of which Shakur has not done, let alone routinely. Has he even done any of that once?

The great amateur 2 x Olympic gold medalist Robsy only became a one weight champ in the ''major'' leagues and has 3 legit losses in that first weight class, one to a scrub

    My whole point, genius

Here's Crawford asked here what his favourite fights of career are and 2 of the 3 are Gamboa and Felix Diaz who he felt it was important to point out are both Olympic gold medalists in the ''minor leagues''

He sees that as a big deal and worthy of much praise so your own boy is undermining your argument for you straight from his own mouth

In fact, he's boasted about beating 2 Olympic gold medalists many times

His fans have boasted about him doing that often too. ''But Bud beat 2 Olympic gold medalist though''

And they've also made a huge deal bout him fighting Burns in Scotland, just like Haney fans did about Haney fighting Kambosos in Australia, and Spence fans did about Spence fighting Brook in the UK even though none of them were fighting on a stacked deck of a home ref and 3 home judges

I've lost count of the amount of times I've heard American fans want to pin a Medal of Honor on their boys for using their passport once or twice in their career. Funny that, eh?

And the funny part is Gamboa was a 126/130 pounder who way smaller than him with a 9'' shorter reach who had no right being up at 135 where his form is trash, let alone against a massive weight bully like Crawford.

And Diaz didn't even deserve his gold medal because they robbed his opponent in the semi-final

The reason why Madrimov doesn't fight at 147 is because, unlike so many of your boys, he's not a massive weight bully

If you're weighing more in your 4th weight class, for your debut at that weight, than your career opponent at that weight did, whilst you're super lean that says it all

Crawford was super lean whilst weighing more than career 154 Madrimov who used to walk around at 160-164 a few years ago

How much does Crawford say he weighs here?

He looks as lean as an anorexic greyhound at that weight over 5 years ago

He posted a photo of himself on the scales over 7 years ago weighing 177lbs

Not sure I even believe in the whole weight bullying concept. You make the weight that's it end of story but let's even play your game

Do you actually believe that Madrimov could have made 147 while Crawford, Spence, Thurman, Porter, Danny Garcia and Manny Pacquiao were all there and make far bigger money fights with them but just chose not to out of principal?

Fighters campaign at the weight class they think suits them best for the most part (Crawford cash out fight vs Canelo for example is an exception)

    End of story

If Madrimov felt like he could've been world class at 47 he would do it

    Same as Bivol at 168

Canelo is significantly bigger than Crawford

There's a difference between natural weight and weight put on

    Completely different muscle density

Lomachenko has had a better career (professional, I don't care about the minor league stuff) than Shakur Stevenson as of today

Shakur Stevenson will have accomplished more

Maybe had Lomachenko and his team not had such egos and career mismanagement it would be different

Lomachenko shouldn't have fought Salido in his 2nd fight

Lomachenko shouldn't have gone into the Lopez fight if he was hurt

Lomachenko shouldn't have had such a bad game plan vs Lopez

    Lomachenko should've turned pro earlier

    Lomachenko was also injury prone

Stevenson will likely end his career as a 5 weight champion (maybe 6)

Unfortunately for Lomachenko his fans like you can only retroactively speculate on what he would've done

Lomachenko is a great but Shakur Stevenson will most likely surpass him

Professionally like I said but I don't care about amateur and neither does almost everyone else

Bivol is certainly capable of going down to 168 and go undisputed there as well...IF the top money dude at 168 wasn't making it deathly obvious he isn't fighting him ever again. Keep in mind that Bivol was a champion at 175 and offered to fight the 168 undisputed champion Canelo in a rematch and Canelo absolutely didn't want to do it.

Why would a champion at the division above consider giving up the belt to fight a weaker, no-name no belt guy at a division below when he's already a top dog at 175?

Why wasn't he always fighting at 168?

Especially once Canelo moved up to 168

Well, he is just coming off an excellent display against a good fighter, whose style is far from ideal for him; and whats-more he did it in the right way - he fought him to a standstill and took over the fight and won it like a man. All credit is due for an excellent performance.
But also, steady on. Its one win against a guy who has been repeatedly embarrassed, and his limitations shown, by a past it version of Tevin Farmer. I suggest he needs to do a lot more before being pronounced the best of his generation.

Shakur might not even be the best active lightweight in the US, never mind the best boxer in the world.
