DAZN UK basically confirmed what we all knew and the Financial Statements told us - the DAZN UK business model has failed miserably with very little public interest.

The premium rate figure is eagerly awaited and I wonder whether this will be made public before Ben Shalom's broadcasting deal.

What will be the price for a one year DAZN Premium subscription ? 229,00 or 249,00 or 299,00 ?

By the way : It's quite funny that so many youtubers are so enthusiastic about His Excellency and thank him with all their hearts :)

Mr Turkey is the best thing since the invention of boxing gloves but he will soon be a huge villian should it be announced that a Premium Annual Subscription will cost £299.99 if paid up front.

My view is that sport streaming companies are all going to move to an a la carte model. Similar to how Amazon have turned Prime Video into a series of distinct subscription channels.

Still too many unknowns to be sure whether this good news though.

If it's a "standard" boxing sub for the same price as now, with an additional "premium" sub that's pretty muchthe same price as the combined PPVs would have been before, it is not good news at all. I wouldn't have watched last weekend's Sheeraz card because of timezone, therefore wouldn't want to be paying for it.

If what they're announcing here is a moderately (say 25%) more expensive sub that incorporates the Ring and Riyadh Season events, then this is a very welcome move.

    Fingers crossed.

Sometimes I wonder if I am the only that misses the good old days, i.e. 10-15 years ago where an all in Sky subscription got you pretty much everything worth watching across sports, entertainment and movies for a fraction of today’s prices even when taking inflation into account.

That is the real revolution since the invention of Satellite TV.

The more subscriptions and the more Box Office events results in organised criminals raking in an increasing fortune with millions of customers and thousands joining every month as word travels faster than illegal migrants.

Cannot see Mr Turkey getting premium annual subs of £299.99 out of those people for DAZN UK when they are only paying up to £70 per year for absolutely everything broadcasting these days including Goldie Horn.

People see me as a real mug forking out for Sky Sports, TNT Sports and Premier Sports.

Dropping Box Office is a step in the right direction but the high number and high charges for individual subscriptions is far too much to entice those lost customers back.

Smash the gangs I say but the law enforcement track record indicates that they could not smash an egg.

Was watching the British Open Golf and it sort of sums up what is wrong with the Saudi Sportswashing Streaming Service known as DAZN UK.

I watch golf on Sky quite regular and I noticed Graeme McDowell was on the commentary team for the British Open this week.

Thought to myself, wonder why he retired as I had not seen his face for years. A google search asking the question why did he retire to find out he is away on the Saudi Sportswashing Tour called LIV Golf.

Honestly he has been right off my radar for years and completely out of sight, out of mind playing on this Saudi LIV tour which is broadcast on DAZN.

I've spoken to a few people and it turns out I was way too optimistic about the price.

We're looking at £399.99 for a one year subscription.

I’ve no insider knowledge at all but £400 seems unrealistic. That £280 more than a current subscription ( 1 yr upfront ) divided by 12 equals £23.33 extra a month. Turki doesn’t do 12 PPVs a year so it’s way over the cost of PPVs currently. I might be a f@cking idiot but it’s not going to be that price. Feel free to quote this when I’m proved wrong :)

I've been told the target is £399.99.

I wonder if there will be some kind of offer at a lower price to try to lure people into the DAZN store ?
