He really did, but was hot or cold about it.

His loses to Salido, Haney, and Teo are all basically because he failed to turn up the heat.

Please. Watch the Martinez, Mayweather, Rosario, Taylor fights. Watch everything up until Don King hoisted his skirt for Julio to do bumps under. And then watch him eat shots from far younger, bigger assassins like Oscar and Kostya.

Ivan Calderon and Guillermo Rigondeaux deserve a mention. Skilled as they both are they seem to not have much bite when the going got tough.

Better yet, how about you …

    Read the thread title

Look at the list of boxers I posted

Familiarize yourself with their nicknames (hint: JCC is the Lion of Culiacan, and lions don’t have dog in them being feline and all)

Drinking whiskey and wine, on a roll, don't get in my way!

As I mentioned to the other fellow, check out the nicknames of the fighters I posted:

    Stanley Hayward (Kitten)

    Cleveland Williams (Big Cat)

    Rudolfo Gonzalez (El Gato)

    Tony Lopez (The Tiger)

    Cathy Davis (Cat)

    Marian Trimiar (Lady Tyger)

Julio Cesar Chavez (The Lion of Culiacan)

Do you see any dogs there?

 I picked up on Tiger and Kitten on a skim and had a personal chuckle… I should’ve known it was on purpose and looked into it.

What do you mean, Scott Walker?

The Pink Cat had a ton of dog in him. Granted, it was all poodle, but canine nonetheless.
