Too busy, rip off prices and unsafe in lots of areas. Last time I was there I paid a fortune to stay in a nice hotel away from the trouble and even then the hotel still issued warning about having valuables like phones, watches and jewelry on display. But some people make out like you're a bigoted old fuddy-duddy who needs to get with the times because you prefer living in an area where things like r*pes, muggings and stabbings aren't a daily occurrence.
Won't derail the thread but it is very expensive, crazy infact and it will only get worse as councils move people to the outskirts so they can build new build flats There are unsafe areas in all major cities and towns in Engkand and all over the UK, that isn't exclusive to London by any stretch. I've had far more positive than negative experiences in London and its probably my favourite Major European city.
Really terrible undercard though. Shades of Fury Whyte Fury Chisora undercards. Understand that Frank hasn’t got his excellency funding this one but it’s still PPV.
Assume from now on, the Saudi cards will be on the "Ring" brand and promoters will just ship fighters into them for 10% off the top - over time you wonder if the Saudis will bother with Frank and Eddie or if "Ring" will just be an going supercard series without any affiliation?
So if Dubois gets the upset tomorrow do we get a trilogy? Or is it only Usyk who has to give rematches? This fight has kind of snuck up on me a bit. Hasn't felt like the build up to an undisputed fight.
Ive been impressed with Daniels demeanour at the weigh in, and during fight week. Im Changing my pick to Dubois by stoppage. Just have a feeling he might get the Great old man with a thunderous punch somewhere in the middle rounds.
Somewhere in the middle of the belly button more like! Usyk won't get away with that twice. Maybe he'll borrow Tyson Fury's boob-height belt this time to be safe. (I'm an Usyk fan but that did feel like a tactical breather in the first DDD fight even if he won it convincingly otherwise - like the reverse of a "professional foul" in football).
That was a superb punch and he was robbed out of a sensational victory. He’s going to nail the Ukrainian to the canvas this time. The best boxer in the world is Daddy Cool and this is his night to go down as one of the greats.
