I genuinely don't think Dubois has a glass chin. He quit against Joyce, had an ACL injury against Lerena, and took a knee against Usyk in the 8th without being hit by anything clean. He quit against Usyk. Watch the KO again. He gets hit, he's up, then he just goes down by himself and stays down for the count.

Dubois has a weak mentality and trash defense but his chin is fine. He took hard jabs, hooks, and straights from Usyk all night, got caught by Miller a bunch of times, took clean punches from Hrgovic, Joyce, and AJ and didn't go down.

As I said, Daniel quit. He was getting destroyed and decided to find an excuse to get out of there. Slow the "KO" down. Usyk hits him with the jab, Dubois is up, then he goes down on all fours, waits until the count is at 10 and gets up. If Dubois had a bad chin, he would be Amir Khan'd on the ground, flat on his back gasping for air.

 

Hrgovic isn't a big puncher. His technique is atrocious.

predictable response. Hrgovic is a 6’6” 112kg professional heavyweight boxer who was undefeated and he laced Dubois with countless clean punches. If he was “glass jawed” he’d have gone over.

Being undefeated has nothing to do with punching power. Fact is that Hrgovic is not a big puncher, and Dubois is a class cannon. Stopped twice with jabs, and knocked down by Lerena.
His chin is not world class, and thats the reality of his situation.

 

Are you mentally challenged? How is hrgovic’s size relevant? Are you suggesting that because Dubois is also a large man that this entirely compensates for the limitations of the human body in absorbing force?

You are literally arguing that Dubois can be “glass jawed” despite taking countless clean, full-blooded blows from Hrgovic and staying upright.

 

The idea isn't his stats vs Dubois'. He's saying the dude is a fking 6'6 massive behemoth, trained to do nothing but punch other trained men in the head all day as hard and well as he can. You are an armchair professional downplaying anybody who's not a 10x undefeated megachamp.

 

Exactly. The simple fact is a “glass jaw” couldn’t take fifty clean power punches from a massive man whose trade is to punch heads, no matter if he’s “not a big puncher”. What a dunce.
