I've always thought this "no uppercut" thing was overused. Did he seldom use it? Yes. Was it non-existant? **** No. He used it to great effect against Peters in their rematch and even got the KO with it iirc. He would've done well to incorporate it in his arsenal more often.

I think its a punch Wlad didn't really need, but that he should have used from time to time just to keep the other guy guessing. The same as he never needed body punches, slipping one to the ribs would accentuate the effectiveness of his main jab/right straight routine. So: he didn't NEED those punches but I agree with McG they would have been nice every once in a while.

He was too adverse to perceived risk to let too many punches go in close proximity unless very safe.

I agree, but even so, I struggle to find any other giant more skilled than him.

This was Ali-Holmes ffs. I'm reporting this forum, for letting that bloodbath go on instead of stopping it. CT was getting battered from pillar to post ffs.

Bowe would be my number one.
    Lewis a very close second.

Fulton belongs in the conversation. He was the one mountain Langford couldn't climb.

I'm not quite as impressed. His excessive clinching kills it for me. There was a hole there.

I’m very shocked! Isn’t he in your top 5 H2H?

Sorry, I thought we were talking about Lewis. I was half asleep when responding, and skimmed over the excessive flinching part.

I'd say Tyson Fury and Riddick Bowe were more skilled than Lennox. Both, however, were FAR less dedicated to sports and training

Gonna go yes, chief. Gonna go yes. Valuev is obviously the most skilled super giant though.
