Mad seeing Usyk now compared to the Witherspoon fight. Gained weight the right way.

 

Round 1

Usyk instead of touching gloves gives Dubois a double palm-tap on his love handles. Dubois awkwardly tries reciprocating but Usyk is already walking to his corner. Bell rings. Usyk pawing with the right jab, hooking off it. Dubois doubling the left jab, eats a stiff southpaw jab from Usyk. Dubois is taking quick lunging steps inward with his jab but getting blocked. Usyk circling to his right and leaning away from Dubois' shots, and popping in some pull-counter lefts. Swatting right hook up top from Usyk. Dubois steps in and badly misses a jab as Usyk sidesteps him. 1-2 by Dubois, caught on the forearms. Usyk navigates his way out from the corner as the crowd roars to get behind Dubois. Right hand thumps into the chest by Dubois. Left hand counter by Usyk while ducking in. Big combo by Usyk before the bell.

Lovely lateral movement from Usyk. One of the liveliest opening rounds he's had for a long time
