Oleksandr Usyk vs Lennox Lewis

Lewis most likely wouldn’t be able to ko Usyk, and it's very hard to imagine that he would outpoint a guy who has a much better workrate and speed. Lewis' gas tank would fail him, Usyk UD!

I think there’s a reason lewis was kept away from southpaws. And he would be going up against the greatest lefty in HW history. BAD news for the ‘liON’ lol

I think lennox would just be calling up the guys Usyk fights beforehand and giving them little pep talks instead

I don't think Bird would have beaten Lewis as he has the power of a middleweight, but I think Usyk would've had him

Lewis' only shot would have been a slgood uppercut up the middle I think

 

I think Byrd woulda caused problems and made it an ugly fight where at the very least, lewis wouldn’t have looked good. And Sanders woulda potentially been a whole other can of beans lewis admittedly didn’t wanna bother even opening. But… it’s all speculation. One thing is for certain… Usyk (Especially prime) would’ve caused lewis a **** load of problems. And it’s safe to say by now (I’ve always believed it) Usyk is more than capable of knocking lewis’s lights out with that left hand.

The Lennox that beat Holyfield in the first fight and was robbed, and the one that knocked out Golota, would have beaten Usyk. Fury was cruising for large parts of the first half of the first fight before Usyk took over. That's the way Lewis would have beaten him, too, I think, but he'd have kept it up for 12 rounds. I'd have Lennox win that one on points.

 

Lewis revealed how he would beat Usyk. He also revealed that Dubois would defeat Usyk in the rematch

 

Usyk is all wrong for Lewis. Of all the all time greats that I could place over Usyk, I think Lewis performs the worst. Lewis never faced a southpaw. He hated them. (Sanders, Byrd, Moorer). Also Lewis didn’t face many movers either, guys like Hide, Oquendo, Donald.
He also often came into fights with below top tier stamina in many fights. In short Usyk is poison to Lewis. Lewis could look bad against a basic one two guy like Bruno until he tired, no way does he find Usyk in the ring. Lewis would be lost at sea.

 

Are we forgetting Usyk barely beat slob Fury and AJ in close competitive fights? And Lewis is a level above them.
