Usyk has stopped one man at HW. Ali has been stopped by one man at HW. The only top fighter from his era Ali didn't fight was Machen. The only top HW from his era Usyk didn't fight is "everyone not from the UK". Who cares about fighting that guy? This is just so comically disrespectful.
It's worth noting that of Ali's 56 fights, he started fighting fringe contenders almost immediately, and kept upping the level of competition until he had more victories over more ATG fighters than any other heavyweight. I mean, I love Uysk, and certainly think he is uber-elite, but I am not sure why we have to **** on Ali to get there.
It’s a mismatch. Ali was stylistically unprecedented in the relative dark ages of the 1960’s. Usyk is a unique fighter 50-60 years later.
