The WBO have ordered Oleksandr Usyk to defend against Joseph Parker

I was a bit shocked the first name he mentioned was Chisora

 

I am a fan of his but this is outright criminal if it actually happens.

He has 13 losses in his career. Whenever he has stepped up, he has usually lost: Fury x 3 times, David Haye, Vitali, Whyte x 2, Parker x 2. Granted these are all quality fighters but Chisora has never shown he can beat a prime world class opponent convincingly. This should not be allowed.

 

I really hope that's sarcasm lol

 

He's dropped the WBO before....

Personally Id love to see Parker Usyk. I just wonder if it's what Usyks management wants in terms of $$$

A December fight against Parker as a WBO mandatory makes sense, then I see Usyk checking out with a big money trilogy (but pointless) fight against the winner of Fury v AJ.

 

I know....imagine NOT having a win against Parker like AJ and Joyce....criminal!!

 

Usyk was just throwing out heavyweight names - he's never going to fight Chisora or Fury again. It will be Parker.

He trolls. How about showing up to a press conference with Fury dressed as the dude from Hitman? Or some of the things he's said in little video clips? There's this funny little video clip of "who beats who", and he picks AJ over everyone while smirking and laughing at himself. So when he's asked about who to fight next, he lists three guys who he knows nobody wants to see him fight again... then at the end throws out the guy EVERYONE wants to see him fight.

I'd like to see some interviews with him where he speaks in his own language, through an interpreter. He's my favorite HW champ in a LONG time, and all my impressions of the way he discusses things are in his broken english. That ain't fair. I'd bet he's actually a pretty well spoken dude. I get what he does for fans (mostly english speaking) by having a translator restate the question to him in his own language just to be sure he 100% understood it (and be on hand to provide a word or phrase in english for him that he doesn't know), then responds in english, but I feel like I'm disrespecting a legend by thinking of him as some dude who speaks simply.
