Shame Fundora ducked Bud...really wanted to see that fight.

 

People always say this but fighters fight he can have a rest and there is still plenty of money for him to make fighting in Australia.

 

Nah he didn't call him out he just said - Pac is coming up next. we havent seen him in a long time and i'm excited to see him.

 

I don't think he called Manny out. I think he literally just meant Manny was the last fight on the card. As he continued to talk he just seemed happy to be seeing Manny fight. Not a call out.

It's poor management by his team in my opinion. They didn't give Tim enough time to recover from the brutality of that first fight with Fundora and going straight to Bakhram right after was ill advised. Probably also ill advised to rematch Fundora after the Bakhram fight.

Think there was always a bit too much ego with Tim. It's a shame as he has a very very solid base.

 

Ok, that's a good idea. He can be competitive in Australia.

 

Sad to see Tszyu go out like this. With 3 losses almost back to back it's hard to see him continuing on at world level, atleast for now.
Pretty unfortunate how things have all turned out for him over the last year. Was supposed to fight Thurman who pulled out and was replaced with Fundora. Looked like he had the beating of a gun shy Fundora before that cut opened up and changed the course of the fight. Then getting smoked by Muratzaliev. Now coming up against an improved version of Fundora as opposed to the first version he fought who he probably would've beaten 8/10.

Fundora fought alot better this time than in their first fight. Seems to have overcome whatever demons he had in that fight, likely from his KO loss to Mendoza, that made him so gun-shy and put on a more traditional Fundora performance paired with his improved long range skills. Will be a tough fight for anyone in the division right now, though I still think he'll prove to be beatable.

 

It's strange but when the ring announcer was introducing the fighters I didn't like the look in Tszyu's eyes,, I saw doubt and apprehension...
And he fought like it.

 

You know how unforgiving a lot boxing fans can be. All you say is true, but - when you withdraw and there's no major injury and you're coming off a round where you were dishing it right back out and weren't getting dribbled off the canvas... there's a piper to pay.

 

If I'm not mistaken Harvard is no longer Ivey league. Lol. Shout out to Fundora! Good win!
