Yeah I don't want to see that either. The whole fight I was fearing the wheels would come off and he'd unravel and suddenly look every bit the 46 year old, war torn veteran that he is. As amazing as his performance was tonight he was in against an opponent that allowed him to fight his fight for the most part, I don't want to see him in with someone like Ennis.

 

Not really... it just shows that the most mid belt holder currently at 147lbs couldn't manage better than 50-50 against the faded husk of a 46yo legend.

No it shows they picked the weakest belt holder I say this in all honesty old boy is the weakest champ I’ve ever seen , as I posted a few minutes ago I don’t want to see PAC in with a live fighter that could get ugly fast.

I agree with this. Pacman's timing, reflexes and balance were a little off. Stamina good for an old man but not good enough.

Pac looked good in brief spots but overall he is shot.

He was out of gas in the last three rounds and that allowed Barrios to take the last three rounds.

Boxing is a young man's game. Father time is undefeated and we saw that tonight.

 

There is a reason why I asked this and it was to get an answer before the fight.

 

People might say conspiracy theory, but I seriously think Barrios was told by PBC to make it close with no KO for a rematch to milk it more. He "fought" to make it close enough to set up a rematch. The draw was perhaps a coincidence but whether he win or lose, it was always planned to be a decision close enough IMO.

Barrios sucks for sure, but that he held back punching in general, mysteriously stopped doing body shots when Pac showed that it hurt him, and he followed up almost nothing on his punches...he lands a solid shot then he suddenly stops. He fought 12R and isn't tired at all and minimal damage. Smiling the whole match and doesn't look like a guy desperate to not lose his belt near the end.

Also, PBC lost Benavides, and with Tank-Roach still undecided they need another PPV headliner and Pacman is gonna be it. If they have a BS rematch in a few month I'm sure it was set.
