    Hi Buddy.
At what stage of his career did come to the conclusion that Usyk was a better version than Ali, genuine question with no side.
    stay safe buddy, chat soon.

The consensus that the guys Usyk beat were the top 2 of the era seems dubious due to all the ducking. They didn't prove it in the ring

I agree...there is no chance that Ali would beat Usyk or most of the fighters on that list. I think a prime Lewis and Klitschko would give him real problems, but none of the others. The man is a monster.

Yeah, they actually did, and pretty much the entire rest of the boxing community understands as much.

His accomplishments are among the greatest in the history of the sport. What more does he have to do?

Wait, why does Hrgovic deserve a shot? Not sure he adds much to Usyk's legacy.

    1) He adds nothing
    2) Parker, Kabeyal, Wardley and Chisora are all interims or #1 contenders, so no, Hrgovic deserves nothing.

Because watching them and looking at their styles he would beat them all.

Makes no odds about who'd beaten who its doesn't make any difference at all. Everything is styles.

Fury struggled against ngannou and wallin. AJ wiped the floor with them,, fury gives usyk his closest fight. Chosora does pretty well against usyk and gets schooled by fury, Joyce whoops parker and loses to zhang easy. Parker deals with zhang no problem. Fury goes life and death with wilder, wilder is easily beaten by parker etc. Duboid obliterates AJ, AJ does better against usky than dubois in both fights. This can go on and on and on.

I don't care who's beaten who it's not relevant at all.

The only one I think that is a good fight is usyk vs prime Mike tyson because of their styles. The rest he beats easily no one out boxes usyk no one.

Plus you aren't giving today's hw enough respect they might not be on that list but it's a solid division, dubois had clearly improved, dealt with AJ, hrgovic, Miller etc. These may not be the greatest but they are good fighters, dubois isn't the greatest he's more Bruno than lewis perhaps but he's a dangerous young fighter.

Usyk made him look like a complete novice. He makes makes everyone look a fool. Look at the cruiserweight he demolished a totally stacked division.

If you ain't putting him in that list it's just nostalgia. Marciano? Cmon he was a crude brawler usky would make him look worse than dubois.

Agreed. His resume doesn't translate to HW goat. For example, Ali beat Frazier, Foreman and Liston. And he has a number of other very good wins. Usyk's resume isn't touching that.

Usyk is today's best, but not the all time best.

I would knock a couple of guys up or down some spots, but I honestly think this is a hell of a list, and defensible.

Jack Johnson and Ezzard Charles would be my alternates.

I don’t think he’s the greatest or even close I just think he’s the best
