Alright knew years ago Tim Tszyu was a low level iq fighter and tonight proves it again

His whole strategy looked clearly ridiculous the single moment near the end of the fight he fought Fundora on the inside and was thrashing him from up close. Whats Sugar Sebastian Fundora supposed to do from keeping you from getting inside on him Tim, use his elite footwork??

And he was head hunting all night zero body shots attempted at an 11 foot long torso.

 

Fundora was like Paul Williams on Roids.

 

The way the narrative switched on Tim from being a fun throwback fighter to a bum is wild.

 

The fact that he actually came on strong in the last round then quit anyway is very telling to me. To me that tells me his mind caved. He just doesn't have the fire.

If you look at his post fight interview too it seemed like he was happy and fine with it which just backs up that theory.

He's done...pretty short lived career. At this point its just about how much money can he make off his name to sustain the rest of his life.

 

Or stilts.

 

Yeah in that other fight where he got stopped he had a look of desperation while getting beat on... kinda like someone get me out of here. He reminds of Victor Ortiz, will go to battle but only so much. Not knocking him because not everybody is cut from that cloth like a Holyfield.

Tszyu is damaged goods, his career is over unless he can fix his head/mental which I think is unlikely to happen. His team really screwed him over by letting the first Fundora fight continue with the cut, they should have agitated for the NC or go to cards when Tszyu was still in front rather than let it play out. Its permanently injured Tszyu psychologically.

A shame because he was an entertaining fighter and a good addition to the division. I would have liked to see him against anyone at the weight class.

 

Throw him in with Conor Benn in a battle of the losers.

 

Id like to say Bakhram ruined him but he fights the exact same and has gotten dropped twice before

 

I think the Bakram fight ruined him he had a good 2023 and looked like a force.
Pretty easy for his detractors to put the boot in now while he is down.
