Yep then fighting Bahkram next was even dumber the guy was totally unknown they went in blind. He probably should have fought Joey Spencer after the first Fundora fight and worked his way back carefully.
Hard to know whether it has been a case of Tszyu's courage and ambition bringing him undone or those around him not advising him well but it has resulted in a train crash.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing lol even fighting Fundora the first time on 2 weeks notice was stupid.
" We need to hope Jai lands the unification fights at Cruiserweight. " And today I read the Ramirez (sp?) has just had shoulder surgery and will be out for months
Poorly advised and managed. After the Spencer fight, i couldnt believe his promoter and the No Limit dick-riders in the Australian media all banging on about how Timmy Tszyu is back. Spencer was lowly ranked and hardly threw a punch. Have absolutely zero interest in a bout between Tim Tszyu and Zerafa.
I have had no interest in Zerafa full stop, since he pulled out of the fight with Tim 4 years ago. But... It sounds like team Tszyu are considering moving up a division to middleweight and who is WBA #8 at middleweight? Zerafa. So it suddenly makes a whole lot of sense and dollars, why that fight might happen.
Jeff Fenech is all over Tszyu's team calling them 'clowns' for not throwing the towel in and instead making Tszyu himself take the heat for deciding not to continue.
If we're being honest Tim was done by round 2, if i was in the corner i wouldve considered throwing it in then, that was a hellacious beating he took in that round & if you watch his whole expression was bad & almost like an ow **** not again look. He's tough & determined but sometimes that's not enough. His dad wanted him to take a year off & head to Russia for a long camp, said in a paper over there that he needs to work on defence & movement. They shouldve listened, instead they said he was too intense. Maybe he saw things that others in his team are to blind to see. No Limit saw him as a cash cow because honestly thats the only explanation for how they have mismanaged the last part of his career. Truly inept, to even think after the 2 losses that 1 soft rebound was enough is mind blowing.... Less said about his trainers/ corner the better. They got shown up massively in these losses. Inept at the big stage. If he was to continue he needs a whole new camp. Hopefully Tim can either take a year off or just retire. He achieved plenty more then most, he's got plenty of money to live comfortably; beautiful wife go enjoy life i say

And will be interesting how this plays out with No Limit's period of exclusivity with Fox Sports expires in Oct, as none of their other fighters are ppv draws and with Turki saying that DAZN will no longer be charging for the ppv shows.
I'm on board for a King Timmy title run at Middleweight. Needs three fights to get himself ready (imo). 1. Micky Z - #8 in the WBA, #11 in the WBO & #15 in the IBF. 2. Mateo Tapia - #8 in the WBO & IBF. 3. Endry Saavadra - #2 in the WBO & #9 in the IBF. All three are under contract with No Limit. Show them the money & let's get it on.
