Yeah I saw a very brief interview a day or two before the fight where Usyk was asked about the Krassyuk situation and his answer was something like "We're still working together, he's just not my promoter anymore." So many folks taking Usyk's separation from his promoter as a bad omen... only for it to be less of a dramatic falling out and more "Hey, can you do this for me instead?" I sincerely doubt it's true, but I like to think this was all some kind of elaborate mind game Usyk and his team were playing just to **** with people who look way too deeply into things like that
