£399 will have people begging for the return of ppv’s, I wouldn’t even want to imagine what the American price would be as their ppv pricing make ours look a bargain, Usyk Dubois 2 is $60 and Barrios vs Pacquiao is $80

You’ve been told wrong - no one, and I mean literally no one, is paying 400 quid up front. I do that for my football season ticket but never for any streaming (and I pay the up front fee for DAZN now!)

I think £299.99 one off payment up front and £29.99 per month for an annual contract.

It can’t be more than £199 all in no monthly

That figure would be sensible but I fear worse.

I think that'll be the new customer and "anti-churn" price for people leaving, but if @Astro is right then the target price of £399 is probably right.

Last night was the first time in ages I didn't get talked into, or talk myself into, dodging a PPV - I think the last time was Fury-Chisora where even the radio was a tough listen. Having just secured Now TV for the full Sky Sports suite at £17.99 per month there's zero chance of £25 PPV or more than £10-15 regular sub for DAZN alone.

I've been a DAZN subscriber since day 1 and I actually think £399.99 is a fair price for 1 year's subscription.

I was talking to a friend about this earlier. He pays a similar amount for Racing TV in the UK and thinks it's a bargain. He didn't blink at £400 for DAZN.

Racing UK is an intrinsic part of UK racing, and on any given day can show 3-4 race meetings which support the betting industry that funds it all. He'll sit and watch it all day if he's not working. Boxing is never going to be like that so I'm just not sure there's a realistic audience paying that much for 1 show a week.

He's a racing journalist so in all honesty he watches it whether he's working or not!

I think Racing TV is quite different from DAZN.

As you say its basically 7 hours of content most days, along with some shoulder content.

If you bet on racing its basically a must

£399 isn't a lot of money but believe me to pay that for a yearly subscription up front for a ****ing TV channel is insane. You are basically chaining yourself in as its only worth it if you are religiously watching its content on a weekly basis (at the very least).

Turki mentioned something about the increase being the cost of a McDonald's meal or a Starbucks Coffee... so I'm thinking an extra £5-£8 a month if thats true
