Usyk should drop his belt to mandatory challenger Parker, then reclaim it to be 4x undisputed

I think this would be an excellent strategy. No heavyweight in history has ever been 4x undisputed. Usyk already stands alone, but this would solidify his legacy as the greatest of all time. Usyk can fight Fury again for a huge payday after gifting Parker the belt, and then beat Parker to be undisputed for the 4th time. Nobody will ever replicate his achievements

This proves how stupid the x time thing is. Joshua is sold as a two-time champion simply because he beat the guy he lost to, who was like a beached whale. In Usyk's case it's not quite like that, but it's possible to just drop a belt somehow to then win it again, when it should never have been lost in the first place. I think context matters a lot when considering x time concept

    100%

    Context needs to be applied.

It wouldn't be at all impressive to me.

    Two issues with this

A)Usyks not undisputed. People don't count interim titles but those are disputations of the title. Parker isn't a mandatory hes the WBO interim champion(WBOs the only interim belt I don't generally recognize but offically thats a world title).

B)For the 2x,3x title strippings don't usually count. The point of being a 2x champion if you lost you get the title back. Regaining a title not lost in the ring does not activate this honor or shouldn't. It is impossible for an undefeated fighter to be a 2x champion.

What nonesense, Usyk is THE undisputed heavyweight champion

Interim belts don't count for undisputed. They are just alternate world titles for a top contender if the real champion is unable to defend his belts so they can get elevated to full champion later on. If Usyk retires the interim champions will probably be elevated to full champion

Undisputed meaning only champ in division. Interim is not a real belt or dispution, it just tells you who the challengers are. With a plastic belt that has no authority besides "it's my turn next to TRY and be a champ, but i'm not one rn. he is the only champ in division, therefore undisputedly".

I think it’s more a matter of when Usyk drops a belt not if he drops a belt, just like he dropped the IBF belt last time he was Undisputed .

Interim is a real belt it becomes the sanctioning bodies world title if the champ is stripped. The main champ and the interim fighting is a unifier.

All non lineal titles are plastic belts. A non lineal alphabelt belt is just as credible at least in theory. I don't recognize unworthy belts regardless which they are. But can acknowledge they are official titles. You aren't going to tell me Stiverne is a real HW champ and Jimmy Bivins or Kabayel isn't.

Interim belts have only been rewarded on occasion at least until recently. With the IBF making their first HW interim belt either with Hrgovic and Dubois. The WBC Silver and WBA "Regular" champion is more what you describe.

Yes the backup champ because he's second place. Does no sport have an undisputed champion, because there is always a 2nd place challenger?? The fact he has a belt to signify that doesn't mean ****

Every non lineal champ is the backup. You're telling me to elevate official backup v interim backup.

    Why stop at Parker.

Next drop the WBA belt so whoever is Regular champ can get upped, and he can beat them. Then drop the WBC title and fight upgraded Kabayel. That'll make him the only x5 Undisputed Heavyweight champ, and it'll make his resume at heavyweight be made up of almost nothing but champions!
