On one hand I'd be happy if Usyk fought someone new who doesn't have more losses then the whole top 10 combined. On the other hand Wardley getting to be a world champion with a title defense by fighting Huni/Chisora is just wow. Or maybe Chisora gets to be a world champ. Lol. I'd pick Wardley to win but they are really giving Chisora the most easy chance at a title possible here.
Wardley decision makes sense here. Chisora knows a lot as a HW and has serious ring IQ. He will cause Wardley some problems and will probably see the final bell. A good building fight for Wardley too
Could see it going either way honestly, even at this age Chisora ain't no joke and Wardley is pretty damn limited in his abilities. Worth noting too that Huni, who is by all accounts very pillow fisted, had Wardley hurt several times in their fight, he just couldn't capitalize on it due to the lack of power. Chisora certainly isn't lacking in that department, so... eh. Screw it. I love an underdog story, I'll go with Chisora by KO. Good fight for him to go out on, finally getting a chance at a title he has a real shot at winning. Might just be an interim title, but it's better than nothing.
I was kind of hoping Chisora would fight either AJ or Dubois for his last fight as he deserves a big name and payday to send off. Nevertheless, Chisora V Wardley is a good scrap - would defo look forward to this HW dust-up. I think Chisora would outwork Wardley and win rounds, and build a fair lead but Wardley would find the KO like he did against Huni as Wardley's power is genuinely crazy.
Could totally see Warren wanting to sacrifice Dubois to build up Wardley. Big risk but wouldn't be surprised to see Wardley chin him. Still favour Dubois to win by KO but he's vulnerable as ****. And the difference in heart between him and Wardley could be crucial if it turns into a slugfest.
Yeah I’d be into watching this. Sometimes it’s nice to sit back and let someone else do the pounding.
