Usyk is naturally bigger and stronger than Ali?! Olek had to bulk from cruiser in his mid30s!

 

Ali got the S beat out of him by Young?! I was there on 4-30-76. Neither guy got a bruise it was a bogus sparring session. And you don't get the S beat out of you by a guy who ducked outside the ropes a half dozen times and by the rules should have been DQd the second time. It was absurd.

Think now. You stated Usyk is "naturally bigger and stronger than Ali..." However, while both are / were 6'3, Usyk was a cruiser until moving up (by eating like a Sumo) when he was 31. Ali was (for 60+ years ago) a full-fledged heavy when he was 10 years younger than that.
And, that was natural growth not modern day forced feeding and bulk work. By age 31, Ali was 220+. Ali was VERY strong and subdued in the clinch any heavy he fought to include some phenomenally strong guys e.g., Liston, Bonavena, Frazier, Foreman, Norton and on and on. Finally, Ali and Frazier did no fight at "a similar weight." For their two famous wars, Ali was exactly 10# heavier for both. Otherwise, all due respect, you make some good technical assertions about how Usyk might fight Frazier.

Prime Frazier was really fast, so he would be a serious challenge for Usyk. Frazier would punish Usyk's body and avoid many of his punches. Frazier wins by a decision.

Good matchup. Gun to my head, I think Frazier is prolly the worst stylistic matchup for Usyk out of all the historic greats. Though Usyk is undeniably more skilled, styles make fights. I will write up a detailed explanation with links later.

 

Usyk has never had anyone on him like Frazier would be, Frazier starts smoking sticking like Velcro and finding his rhythm to the body, he finds his way up top with the hook more than a couple times but it's a body shot that does it, Usyk drops to a knee briefly and collapses, TKO in deep water that Usyk doesn't know how to swim in
