Yeah, I don't disagree with your comment - especially this bit. Korobov was a sensational amateur, and the fact that Golovkin went undefeated against him as an amateur speaks to his quality as well, as a side note. Getting stopped with a headguard on suggests to me that Usyk does not have the iron chin people claim. His defensive acumen and ring IQ are so off the scale it's next to impossible to hit him with a clean shot, and I don't think he has a bad chin either, but if he gets caught, there's every chance he goes over. No shame in that whatsoever, we're looking at an ATG, but I think perspective is important when people are getting carried away right after a big highlight reel KO.
Why does everyone answer to this troll-thread? There is no reason to think so and everyone knows it. This is a nonsense thread and only a little bit funny if it is meant as a joke in the sense that for completeness, after asking for everyone else in the world if they have a glass jaw (as people in this forum like to do), one might have to ask for usyk, too. Since he is legitimately one of the last you could consider to have a glass jaw.
Usyk's opponents have accumulated close to 500 professional knockouts. Usyk is none of those. So yes, definite glass jaw for the Ukrainian.
Round 10 in Joshua 2 - he eats a peach and carries on with his work - which must have been sould-destroying for Joshua! Gassiev round 4 (iirc, been a while), he gets tagged with a beauty from Gassiev, and you can actually see Usyk's knees buckle and he holds on, just a bit - but he was REALLY good and making it look like he was not hurt, but that one he was. Fury 1, the big uppercut would have knocked down many fighters. Usyk's chin is plenty solid when he needs it to be.
I'm counting rounds TWO judges scored for a fighter. By majority opinion Canelo won 5 rounds in that fight.
Of all criticisms of Usyk his chin has never been one, most say he’s weak to the body. I do wonder about that simply because compared to some of his competition like AJ or Dubois he does seem to have a less visibly conditioned midsection but that could be from the extra weight he packed on moving up to heavyweight.
