I don't think Tim would make a great kamikaze.

He was never a good boxer. He had power and a decent chin. Once that chin cracked he was never the same. He made over 10 millions n earning. After tax and paying his team that should still be a great nest egg. Maybe a few more fights in Australia and retire. His days as a top contender is over.

What are you non stop yapping about, the fact that youre trying to argue with Noneck that Australia is an Island already lost whatever point (which you do not have) you are trying to make, irrelevant.

Australia is experiencing some success as of late, which is awesome, but it isn't known for boxing. Like Noneck said, nobody cares if theres a top 20 in every weight class. Hell, some could argue South Korea produced better boxers in the 80s than Australia ever did lol

Tim Tszyu is not the issue rather it’s your irrational bombastic nativism that is. He was not humble when he was riding high.

It sounds like it’s an issue for you.

It’s your nonsense that is at issue. Had Tszyu won we would never have heard the last of it from you. It was fitting he lost by quitting on his stool proving that Fundora is by far the much better man.

The point is Australia produces plenty of professional boxing talent in all weight divisions across the sport. Much of that talent has risen higher than top 20 in the world. For a country of 26 million that is geographically isolated from the rest of the world, Australia contributes well above its weight. South Korea has a population twice that of Australia but clearly isn't in the same hemisphere when it comes to producing or developing professional boxing talent. Past or present. Current Australian talent, all divisions (with apologies to those I have inadvertently left out):

H - Justis Huni, Teremoana Jr, Alex Leapai Jr - Huni was top 20, maybe top 15. Along with Teremoana Jr & Leapai Jr hoping he can go higher in time.
CR - Jai Opetaia is the best Cruiserweight in the world.
LH - We've got a couple of decent locally produced talents combined with a couple of imports who are or soon will be fighting on the world stage.
SM - Callum Peters is the best amateur middleweight in the world. He's just begun a pro career.
M - Tim Tszyu was a top 10 Jr Middle for years. If he reloads at Middleweight, I think he can get there.
JM - Nikita Tszyu isn't top 20 in the world but he's exciting to watch & is headlining major shows.
JW - Liam Paro won a world title on the road against a well-regarded Puerto Rican.
L - George Kambosos Jr won the unified lightweight title on the road against a P4P guy.
Fe - Sam Goodman fights for a world title in a couple of weeks. Was a top 10 Jr Feather.
B - Jason Moloney is a former WBO champ at the weight.
JB - Andrew Moloney is a former WBA champ.
M - We've even managed a world title challenge at Minimumweight in recent times.

Not sure what people expect from a country of 26 million. Obviously a lot more than any other country with a comparable population.

I think we're going just fine despite the weekend's result & have plenty more to look forward to.

    I’ll stop there.

I'll let the Boxrec ratings call it:

H: Big Baby - I would have gone Big Baby myself, but Boxrec says Justis Huni. 1-0 Australia.
Cr: Joe Smith - 2-0 Australia.
175: Joe Smith - Boxrec says your guy is inactive. 3-0 Australia.
168: Cornflake - Our guy is the #1 Boxrec amateur, but it's professional boxing, so okay. 3-1 Australia.
160: Jacobs - Another inactive guy with no rating. 4-1 Australia.
    154: Xander - 4-2 Australia. Puerto Rico isn't a tri-state but you're struggling so I'll allow it.
    147: Ennis (Philly) - 4-3 Australia. Philly isn't a tri-state either but I'll count it.
    140: Teo, Hitchins - 4-all.
    135: Shakur - 5-4 Tri-state.
    130: Shakur, Ford 6-4 Tri-state.
126: Ford - You don't get extra points for nominating the same guy in different divisions.

Assuming you have conceded Bantamweight & Junior Bantam, that makes it 6-all. Unfortunately, if we're going to do it on a state-by-state basis, all of the guys I mentioned come from two Australian states (New South Wales & Queensland) whose respective total populations are 8.5 million & 5.6 million for a combined total of 15 million - half the population of the tristate area. So two Australian states are doing equally as well as the entire American Tristate region despite having only half the population. I rest my case.

Amanda Serrano is the GWOAT. I didn’t even name her.

You put a bunch of emeritus fighters in your Bogan+Pacific Islander rankings who aren’t doing anything so I put recent NY guys who are also inactive. Malnicki can take Jacobs’ place, Berlanga can be in for 168 and Khalil Cole can be in for Smith. The list goes on.

I stopped at 126 because it’s a headache to pick through, not because NY stops producing fighters there. You’re busy naming those retired mediocre brothers from 115/118 like they count for something.

I let Boxrec call the outcomes head-to-head & they kept saying your guys were inactive. All our guys are currently active so I don't know why you're crying foul in that department. Must be a sore loser. If we're going to count women as well, Cherneka Johnson just went Undisputed.

Correction to the 6-all scoreline btw. Raymond Ford is ranked #4 on Boxrec at Jr Lightweight. Sam Goodman is #3 at Jr. Feather. If we do a tie-breaker at Featherweight, that makes the overall score 7-6 Australia. Let that be a lesson to you. Never come in here again & besmirch the good name of Australian boxing.

You wouldn’t dare use the Ring ratings or *gasp* the pfp rankings.

It’s ironic that I called out Aussies for propping up top twenty guys and you’re doing exactly that.

Australia hasn’t even produced a fighter as good as Shakur.

A Zerafa fight would be huge. Could even lead to a title shot with Lara, or a big money fight with Thurman back at 154.

You can quit already like Kostya. He taught his son well.
