I don't even know who will win it tbh. Pulev is ancient but still is pretty consistent. Hunter while being significantly younger hasn't looked good since 2019. Probably will end up being an ugly staring contest/clinch fes/fencing contest that goes the distance. Might actually lean towards Pulev slightly.
Sure didn't look like he had anything left against Forest, Chaney or Suslenkov. Pulev we know can still put on a workman jab 1-2/clinch fest performance as evidenced by Charr, Forrest and Chisora II(which he probably should have won) He'll have to show something that he hasn't shown in several years.
Pulev looks so vulnerable but you're right, he still has that 1-2 and Hunter has looked so pedestrian the last.....5 years.
If Hunter even remotely resembled the fight he was 6-7 years ago I'd strongly back him here.... but the dude has looked awful post-Povetkin. Last time he looked half decent was pre pandemic.........
This content is protected Just another familiar step in Jalolov's career trajectory. The other guy getting sick ain't his fault of course, but also they couldn't even bother trying to sub in the dreaded TBA before outright canceling this one
Top Ranks last card on ESPN as far as I'm aware of, they should of tried to make this one a real firecracker
Terrell Jamal Woods was uncharacteristically KOd and stopped in 1 round by Yoandry Rodriguez. I can't find any footage of it or anything of Rodriguez. He's apparently according to boxrec a 6'8 280 lb 18 year old Cuban. Maybe someone to keep an eye on in the future?
Jalolov made a terrible mistake in signing with Top Rank. He's not been given a single meaningful pro fight. They refuse to pay for a decent opponent for him.
