I just wanted to start a thread discussing some fighters who retired at the right time/had the perfect time to retire. I had this thought with Usyk retiring soon and possibly ending his career on top undefeated much like Floyd and Rocky did. If Joe Louis stayed retired after his first retirement and didn't come back he would've had one of the most impeccable records of all time. Drop some fighters who retired at the right time or had the opportunity to do so.
He actually pushed his luck a bit by moving up to 175 at his age. And shout out to Sakio Bika. Technically, he retired several times, but in the end he walked away at the right moment. His little comebacks never pushed him beyond his capabilities, and he got to walk away from the sport on a high note.
