I see a lot of people saying Parker is #1 based on current form but I think Kabayel's form is equally good.

Frank Sanchez is probably a better win than last-minute Martin Bakole.
Kabayel destroyed Zhang, whereas Parker won a very close decision.
Kabayel destroyed overrated Mahkmudov, and Parker dominated an overrated old Wilder. That's about even.

    Parker

Parker beat Zhang when Zhang was on a winning streak. Zhang's confidence was a lot higher.

Kabayel beating Zhang who is a year older (significant at Zhang's age) and who had lost 1 of his last 2 fights isn't more impressive than Parker taking on Zhang when virtually no one wanted to step in with Zhang.

I don't understand why people refuse to take into account the major difference between fighting a Zhang who was coming off a career best win and over a Zhang who had already lost to Parker.

    Parker. Not close.

Sanchez isn't that good - even last minute Bakole is better.

Zhang... They both won with their own styles - it's all well and good pointing out Kabayel stopped him, but Parker's effectiveness doesn't revolve around power - the important thing is they both got the job done.

Wilder was always overhyped, probably only ever fringe contender level in my view... Even declined, he'd be a better win than Makh, who's done very, very little.

And that's just recent form... Parker has a way deeper resume beyond those last 3 fights - Kabayel has a disinterested Chisora years and years ago, and **** all else.

Kabayel clearly because there are more unknown about him. Parker is a known quantity and he stinks the place out every time he boxes. Kabayel has gotten rid of the opponents he has been put in with recently. Parker scrapes past them in low volume affairs.

Parker ranks higher he has more overall depth to his resume and has beaten 3 top 10 ranked Heavyweights in a row.

But I think Kabayel would be a tougher match for Usyk stylistically.

Parker for me. He's got a good resume and has been looking the real deal lately.

I like both of them, Parker is more proven, but I think Kabayel would be more awkward for Usyk in terms of style...

They're both good contenders although Parker has beaten better fighters than Kabayel has recently, hence Parker deserves a title shot.

Kabayel though, I could see Usyk having more problems with than Parker and has a higher ceiling.

Parker is more deserving, but Kabayel is the more dangerous opponent.

Parker, not even counting their deeper resumes as there is no comparison, but just looking at their recent run of form.

Makhmudov, vastly overrated, not even top 20 in reality, barely worth mentioning.

Sanchez, top 15 at the time, maybe squeaking into top 10, best win is an inexperienced Ajagba, but was crippled for the fight and couldn't move anywhere near as well as he usually does.

And Zhang, who was even older than against Parker and had little drive, if you look at his camp videos. Probably still top 5 when Kabayel beat him, and he beat him with style so a good win.

But that is not better than Parker's recent wins.

Zhang bounced back from the close loss to Parker with a complete destruction of Wilder. I don't think the Parker loss would have impacted Zhang's confidence any more than the Hrgovic loss did. I'm sure Zhang doesn't feel either of them really beat him. He followed that up with a crushing win a few months later.

Based on recent accomplishments - Parker.

    Based on skills - Kabayel.

Kabayel beat Chisora years before Parker did. And Parker's first win over Chisora was very disputable.

There's always been this excuse that Chisora was "disinterested" or "flat" for Kabayel. Because people just didn't know Kabayel and will never give him credit.
I remember when people were saying Chisora was "shot" "washed up" in 2014 when Fury (the favourite) beat him so one-sidedly no one wanted to accept it. So it's no surprise people can't get their heads round Kabayel completely shutting Chisora out and making him look inept.

If Parker can chin AJ in a rematch then i'd rank him higher

Pretty sure Agit would chin AJ
