WBO orders Usyk vs Parker

If Riyadh Season passes on Parker at least have Kabyael or Itauma come in against Usyk. Those are really the only sensible fights to be made before Usyk retires.

 

I think "His Excellency" will make it happen.

 

Itauma? Please no. Itauma will give a decent account of himself for the first 4-5 rounds and then Usyk will break him down and finish him. We do not need a one sided contest. Itauma is not remotely ready for it.

 

I'm just curious, say Itauma gets pasted by Whyte, would you come back here and say "sorry guys, idksab" ? Because too often people talk up a fighter and then when they lose, they either disappear, jump to the next guy like nothing happened, or come up with a bunch of excuses.

If Ituama beats Whyte, good for him. That's a good FIRST step in his growth as a pro. The hell would I need an excuse for? Excuse for what?

They did if you look at their first dozen fights, they destroyed a bunch of guys and looked unbeatable.

 

He won't retire anytime soon. I think he will have 4 more fights and cash out:

• Parker
• Fury
• AJ
• Paul

 

Who cares? They will generate the maximum revenue, that's what matters.

 

Usyk Parker has the potential...to be an absolute borefest. Honestly Usyk is going to jab his willy off.

To be real Parker beat a shot to pieces Wilder. Outboxed 50 year old Zhang, a good win at that time though and chinned a highly out of shape 1 day notice Bakole. All fun and games but he isn't doing anything to Usyk but be a fun sparring session.

 

What does it matter to you though? Do you hope fights get made just so boxers can maximize their purses?

But no, that's not all that matters. What matters the most is when a deserving opponent gets his rightful due shot. DO you even remember when boxing was a sport? I mean, look at your username. Nothing old school about what you post most of the time.

Well I hope so for our sakes. Maybe something Parker's style that gives Usyk a touch of trouble timing some trades maybe but it won't sustain.
