WBO orders Usyk vs Parker

Nothing is more boring than 6'09", big-bellied Fury behaving like a pampered child with stupid comments, then getting schooled by a man he calls a "middleweight".

We've already seen that TWICE, no need for a third fight. Fury hasn't has a decent win in years - he lost twice to Usyk and deserved to lose to Ngannou.

He's still avoiding the one opponent we want to see him in with, namely Joshua.

 

Joshua? Never head of him is he a top 10 heavyweight? sounds like a bodybuilder.

 

I can see why some might think it could be a snoozefest. Personally I don't. But regardless, the guy deserves his shot.

 

I honestly think people think they won't make enough money using Parker

 

I think that Joseph Parker presents almost no problems to Usyk and will be one of Usyks easiest and least entertaining fights ever so Im not exactly clamoring to see that or suprised Riyad season doesnt want to put it on

Parker has no major advantages vs Usyk and has little power

 

Regardless of how Parker fares against Usyk is immaterial.

The message this sends to fighters is you won't be rewarded for fighting actual contenders and high risk opponents regularly.

Not a good precedent moving forward.

 

I am old enough to remember when people kept saying Usyk was too small for Fury.

Imagine if we did not get to see that.

We can't dismiss Parker just because on paper, people think he can't beat Usyk. Parker is the most deserving challenger. The fight needs to happen.

Parkers best win is a guy Kabayel stopped when Parker didn't and got dropped twice

 

Boxing is a business as much as people don't like it


More people on this forum would buy Usyk vs Fury 3 than Usyk vs Parker

It lacks momentum after two losses to Usyk. Maybe if he grew some balls and fight and beat AJ first.
By your logic Usyk might as well fight Jake Paul or Mike Tyson.

Since Usyk is 38 boxing fans logically prefer the parker fight. He also deserves it most. If not then drop the belts and have parker fight someone else for it.

 

To me they just want fury vs aj for all the belts. Thats Turki's dream hw fight but it keeps getting railroaded.
Dubois winning would have gave them options vs AJ or Fury. They rather gambke again with fury vs usyk 3 again rather than giving parker a deserved shot.

 

Parkers wins are accumulative.

People forget Wilder was fighting him as a tune up fight for AJ lol. No one wanted to fight him at that point.

Zhang was coming off his double highlight reel flogging of Joyce and was the most avoided fighter in the Rankings.

Obviously a context to the Bakole fight but both fighters took the gamble and again - he was the boogeyman of the division at the time.

Kabayel has a decent win against Zhang and x2 wins against hyped prospects whose best wins were over a 43 year old Takam and a KO over Junior Fa.

Parker is number 1 for the shot in any book. Kabayel isn't far off.

 

We have already seen Usyk beat Fury twice. I would be interested in a poll. I think people on this forum would prefer Usyk to fight Parker over Fury 3 since we already know how the Usyk-Fury fights unfold.

 

Hopefully it happens. I think it will be much more interesting than the Dubios fights at any rate
