    I know Dasmarinas is being brought in to lose, and he probably will. But damn I hope he can pull off the upset. Pierce is not a likeable guy at all. Another guy preying on shot has beens, trying to bolster his weak ass resume.

    Filipino southpaw slugger Michael "Hot 'N' Spicy" Dasmariñas is probably the second-worst opponent in Naoya Inoue's entire bantamweight reign (behind McDonnell, Payano, Rodríguez, Donaire, Moloney, Donaire once more, and Butler; ahead of Dipaen) but he's still a very solid fighter - which just speaks to how strong & deep a résumé Inoue has. Dasmariñas is 6-0-1 with five kayos since then, but is coming off a stoppage loss to another young Japanese foe in Kyosuke Okamoto.

    American southpaw Elijah "The WXXXLF" Pierce - that's I guess Wolf but with the o swapped out for a triple x, for some reason? :thinking: - debuted in 2016 and stumbled a couple of times in his rookie years (dropping a UD to Giovanni Cabrera Mioletti and MD to Sulaiman Segawa) but is on a six year winning streak of 11-0 (8)
