If Allen is truly focused now, he wins this.

 

I actually think Allen has a shot. Makhmudov is easy to hit and his boxing skills are near non existent. Yeah he can crack but Allen has a solid chin. If Allen can take it beyond 6 rounds I think he can break him down and stop him.

 

This sounds like Allen - Price situation.

I want Dave to win but he'll need to train the house down to have a chance. I hope he does.
So yeah, heart says Allen, mind says Makhmudov is a level above all else being equal.

At times Dave looks spectacular. Like the Browne KO or the last fight.
This is when he's the most hilarious.

Should never have put that kid in with that monstrosity. Look how happy he is there posing to the cameras with that bright, non-comprehending look in his eyes.

 

Price is a legitimate 6'8'' and is taller than Fury and aside from his period with that idiot Coldwell he was in good shape. A mountain of a man.

Allen is 6'2'' at best, under his billing, but despite being a fat slob is a strong guy. Makhmudov is considerably smaller than Price in height and in stature - he's a lot softer than Price. The way his face looks make people think he's a lot bigger than he is.
