I'm not arguing that it is but Usyk is a versatile fighter who can beat you on the front or backfoot or just by basically standing in front of you using lateral movement and blocking, slipping your shots and stepping in and out of range He's not going to walk Tyson or Frazier down or stand in front of them and make things easier for them just like he didn't vs Gassiev. He knew Gassiev was a murderous puncher and he opted to box and move
Yeah one and done puncher, doesn't put them together, and waits long stretches in between punches... waiting for what?
In the amateurs it was Beterbiev and Mihai Nistor that gave Usyk hell.... Go watch Nistor vs Usyk.... Nistor was rocking Usyk's head back like a pez dispenser and was all over him like cheap cologne...
And he beat both despite being a lot less experienced than Beterbiev and obviously the HW Usyk is a very different animal to the HW amateur one Imagine what this much harder punching and bigger pro HW version would do to Beterbiev and Nistor That's the best they have: Citing fights where Usyk was given a tough time as opposed to ones he actually lost, you know, like damn near all their favs did, including most via KO or stoppage Newsflash: Every fighter in the history of the sport had very tough fights Floyd was given a tough night by a 22-16-4 guy, so much so he described it as his toughest fight
Wow! Losing a razor-close decision to a much more experienced opponent in their backyard who had been boxing since the age of 4 compared to you only having been doing so since you were 15 y/o is such a big deal Porter had over 100 amateurs fights by the time he was 14 y/o, Usyk was still a year away from taking up the sport at the same age
No one will wonder this but you. Besides, he beat Chisora, who is a HEAVYWEIGHT pressure fighter. Manufactured nonsense.
The Nistor fight is probably my second or third favorite Usyk fight...and Nistor won one of five rounds. It was 12 years ago. Usyk's loss to Beterbiev was 18 years ago. His loss to Porter was 19. You aren't even grasping at straws, here.
