Ruiz is interesting. Or was, he’s washed now. how tall is he really? 6’0”? 6’1”? He’s probably a natural LHW or cruiser, but blessed with excellent power for either and an epic level chin for either (I mean, he’s fairly durable on HW terms with good recovery abilities). And fast hands. Yet he can’t control his diet so his whole career has been at HW. he had a lot of physical gifts.
He looked poor v Miller but had a broken right hand, being fat doesn`t mean you don`t have boxing ability.
I didn't say he lacks boxing ability. He's got some clear physical gifts, and he's a decent fighter. I mean, he DID win the title. I'm just saying he never lived up to what he could have been. He could have been an ATG LHW or Cruiser, given his gifts.
