I have no idea why and I know it's borderline delusional but I just know that the world is ridiculous enough for Deontay be the one to end Usyk's terror.

Why are we still talking about Wilder in 2025?

    Based on what?

Usyk has fought FuryX2, JoshuaX2, DuboisX2, Chisora, Gassiev, Brieidis, Glowacki, Huck, Bellew, and Joyce in WSB. Which of these put his lights out? Whose lights has Wilder put out that is comparable?

Usyk was last knocked down in 2011-2012 by a body shot from Beterbiev. Wilder ain't going to be the one to break that streak, even if he puts egg weights in his gloves and poison's Usyk's water.

No such thing as a lucky punch in boxing usyks IQ is light years ahead. The only chance prime wilder has is having his the aura of fear/danger he had at his peak be enough to make usyk hesitate second guess himself opening up the oppotunity for wilder to land but usyks mental toughness is his greatest attribute and i just don't see that happening he's proven to rise to the occasion every single time. The only way to beat master boxers like usyk and mayweather is more pressure than they have ever seen and just hope they start to crack under the pressure and fight your fight. The irony is they perform best under pressure and never lose their composure. You're only hope in hell is to apply enough pressure that its enough for them to finaly loose their composure and start making misteaks, That's why chisora and maidana had so much sucsess, they applied relentless pressure but again the master boxers can adjust, That's why mayweather would say there is no blueprint to beat him its the same with usyk, they have masterd the game and they will never fold under whatever pressure you bring, they can adapt to anything, farther time is the only thing that's going to beat usyk at this point he's just 10 steps ahead of everybody and there is no catching up because he's put put in the work ethic for years and years same with mayweather that worthethic puts you ahead of the game other fighters simply don't have the ablity to catch up, its his time his era and that's it. That's another reason why its hard to compare era's the game evolves fighters today should be more skilled the fighters of the past because they learn from the past and level up new skills.

Wilder would be outclassed. Wilder's failures and "windmill style" suggest just that.
But if Wilder were to somehow hit:
1a.) Usyk is recovering and that puts him even higher in H2H terms
2b.) Usyk partially recovers, but Wilder is not a great finisher - Usyk's win
3c.) Usyk is not recovering (I give 1-2 chances for this scenario)

I think it would be a very simple fight, wilder needs distance for his shots, and it’s usually a jab then boom, take both away and he’s clueless. Wilder likely takes a nap on the canvas before 12. Usyk lands pinpoint accurate temple shots. Wilder can’t handle those.

Against a prime Wilder I got Usyk by UD or late stoppage. Against a current Wilder I got Usyk by stoppage before round 5.

Wilder is pretty much shot, he looked decent in his last fight against a journeyman but its clear that his right hand pop isn't their anymore. He's still a strong puncher, but the devastating destructive power isn't their anymore

kind of goes against the whole power is the last thing to go for a boxer, but still

No. Usyk DOES manhandle the windmiller. Usyk via STOPPAGE.

Styles makes fight, and I think Usyk is tailor made for Wilder. One right hand and it’s over

Manhandle means physically bullying him. That is not Usyk's style. Usyk is a great defensive wrestler.

Usyk may well stop him. But it doesn't mean he will do it the way Fury did by leaning on him and pushing him.

Threads like this just go to show how ridiculously overrated Wilder's prime still is...

Wilder ducked contenders - he wouldn't have gone anywhere near Usyk in the first place.

Besides, Wilder always struggled to tag guys who were decently evasive until they either gassed or got sloppy - guy who couldn't tag Szpilka until he started opening up to try and win isn't going to get to Usyk... The guy who couldn't hit rusty Fury in the first bout until he was badly gassed isn't going to get to Usyk.

Then you have Usyks underrated power against the man who got utterly battered by mediocre powered Fury.. Wilder would've got stopped by Usyk.

This wouldn't have been remotely competitive even as current Usyk vs prime Wilder - it's a solid 80/20, and that's being generous to Wilder.

    Elite Vs fraud.

    FML this board sometimes...
