ALLEN v MAKHMUDOV

Makhmudov is crap, I`d like to see Fisher vs Mak with the winner fighting Allen.

Fisher's crap and isn`t more powerful than Mak.

 

This has Price 2.0 written all over it. Big puncher with known flaws. In theory Allen has just to pressure him, wait for him inevitably tire then set about the body. But that should have been the undoing of Price!

 

Makhmudov has been proven to be a robotic hype job, but come on, he still has too much for Allen.

 

This is a terrible fight for Allen. Makhmudov may have single digit ring IQ but he is a powerful lump and Allen is hardly Einstein in there either. He's is going to get caved in.

 

Two carthorses don`t make a race.

 

Agree this is bad for Allen he'll throw nothing for 5 rounds hoping he can absorb what Mak has to offer then get him when he's gassed but it won't work much like the Price fight unless he's learnt his lesson but I doubt it

 

Hearn saying this sells out Sheffield Arena more chance of the arena growing wings and flying to the moon than them even selling half of it.

Cant see this ending well for allen.

Eddie,s matchmaking with allen has been dangerously bad over the years. Considering Allens a personality with a bit of a following. Enough to give him a decent paying career without getting him bashed up to the point hes punch drunk in ten years time.

Unless this guy is injured and finished he,ll batter allen. hearn might know something we dont but if he doesnt its a terrible match up. People are invested in allens career at this point....even if its just a passing interest....its enough he doesnt need to be fighting 6 feet 6 guys with a lot of 1st round ko,s who can punch.

 

Allen will go in there and smash him up, just like he did with Frazier Clarke....

 

No point milking it , he has two fights with MR on the same money for each , whether he loses in the 1st or 2nd fight makes little difference.

EH and MR haven't got the appetite to milk the White Rhino for another 2 or 3 fights and then pay him even more after that.

If he does beat Makhmudov then he may well be given a gimmee for the 2nd fight before his 'seven figure fight'.

If he loses he gets an easy fight for the same money as this one and is never seen on a MR card again.

 

Allen is better than anyone Mak has stopped thus far.

 

Clarke is more skilled than Mak but has far less power.
