    So I guess Vargas is gonna face Tsutsumi next. Probably the end goal is to match him with Bam next year.

    Bad luck for him, because Tsustumi is going to ****ing mangle him. Poor Tsutsumi legit got robed last time out, he clearly beat Higa. So this should've been his title shot anyway.

    Yeah the one he won sadly by defeating Anaguchi. Which resulted in Anaguchi dying from his injuries for those who aren't aware.

    He won the WBA belt off of Takuma Inoue actually but got downgraded after he couldn't defend against Vargas due to injury. The Anaguchi fight was the final of the Monster tournament which guaranteed his title shot against Takuma.

    I thought that as well, but I checked Boxrec and they didn't list a title being up for grabs in the Inoue match which shocked me. Unless it's just a **** up.
