Yup. The same people who were outraged when Fury fought Chisora again seem fine when Usyk does it.

Past actions does not absolve one of future sins.

We're going in circles, so I'm not going to repeat myself about how ridiculous it is to expect Usyk to refuse the rematch clause for no obvious reasons at all.

But my second question is - why are you so obsessed by someone wanting money? Are you a commie or something?

If Usyk fights Chisora instead of Parker now, I'd criticize him together with you. But, if you are talking about any of his past fights in HW, then comparing it to Fury-Chisora III is beyond ridiculous.

I love Usyk, i think he is an exceptional fighter a consummate pro and a gracious champion. But too many act as if he is a perfect angel of boxing who is immune to criticism.

The fact is, that he is not a very active fighter for someone holding all the toys. He fights on average something like every 8 months at heavyweight, which is fine for someone who doesn't hold all the belts. But for the unified champ it holds up the rest of the division as people wait around for their title shots etc.

I understand he was tied up in remarches etc but let's not act like Usyk doesn't have any agency in these decisions and what he could have done. The guy owns the division, if he wanted to he could have fought more and i can't help but feel if Fury had done the exact same he would have copped a lot more criticism.

When asked who he'd fight next after Dubios 2 (which he shouldn't have taken imo) he mentioned Fury, Chisora and AJ before being prompted about Parker. To me that says a lot.

The beautiful thing about Usyk, is he's proving a lot of the young fans wrong and a lot of us "old heads" correct. I remember it wasn't too long ago when Wilder, Fury & AJ were dominating and all the young guns out there would talk about how much "evolved" the HW division was with all the size nowadays and how they would crush all the guys from the 70's, 80's & 90's.

Usyk is winning with a simple old school formula, SKILL. He's using Ali ring IQ & movement w/ some Holyfield heart & Marciano endurance & output and putting these "big dogs" on their asses. Loving every minute of it.

I am another "old head" and I totally disagree with you.

Usyk is actually a total "exception". He is that good

But apart from him, giant SHWs have ruled the division for 25 years. (6'5" MOBILE giants)

And when the "exception" is gone, the division will go back to being ruled by Mobile Giants once again

I am not defensive, it was just a really dumb thing to say. He signed two of the rematches a a condition to getting the fights. The third was a special circumstance.

Then why is he chasing third fights?

I don't blame you for being upset if he does take a third fight, but as of yet, no plans are made. He's got 23 days to do the right thing, here. None of what happens moving forward has any bearing on the past, though.

I pick that Usyk will vacate

And that history may not look kindly on that decision

Again, they (along with Chisora) were the only names he mentioned except when asked about Parker.

This does not fill me with much hope.

I may remember it wrong but I thought he did mention Parker, although unenthusiastically.

Let's see what they come up with. The more I think about it, the more I think that what Frank and Turkyi really want is Parker-Ituama. I agree that Parker deserves a shot at undisputed, and I will be very disappointed if he doesn't get it. I will go so far to say that if Usyk does fight Fury a third time instead, it will be black mark on an otherwise stellar career.

It is almost certain that will happen
