I’d like to see this fight. The counter puncher with stamina issues versus the pressure fighter. Could be a goer.

 

Biased people acting like Kelly is leagues above Benn when he got splattered by Euro level Avanesyan is hilarious delusion.

 

Prime Avanesyan would flatten Benn.

 

Is Benn even Euro level though

 

Benn could do with another humbling, what I’ve seen of Kelly he’d beat him easy

 

Kelly has done even less than Benn so far in his career. I'd favour Benn. Don't think Kelly can sustain the pace he'd need for 12 rounds.

 

Ava was decent and capable of being deadly, Benn has done nothing since he got busted for eating 1.2m eggs. The version of Ava that Kelly fought would have put any version of Benn to sleep.

 

Yeah this is my thoughts also. Benn gets to him.

 

I know people bring up Kelly getting folded by Avanesyan early in his career, but then Benn got battered by a part-time French kickboxer. Since then he's knocked over a few old men while juiced up to the eye balls, and looked bang average again with his supposed power deserting him since the ban.

Benn is the biggest manufactured hype job I have ever seen in boxing.

Even against Eubank, he was fighting a man so dangerously starved, dehydrated and weight drained that he had to spend two days in hospital immediately after the fight. So to say he had the cards stacked in his favour would be one of the biggest understatements in boxing history. And he still lost pretty clearly.

Yeah, Kelly hasn't turned out to be as good as many were expected and he can be got at when someone puts it on him. But is a egg free Benn powerful enough and good enough to do it? Can't see it myself.

Kelly looks like he could fall apart at any minute when under fire, Benn has already shown otherwise.
