alright 190. the old cruiser limit when roy was in his career pomp. that was the point i was trying to get at. usyk would not be at cruiser in the 90's or early 00's. or if he did he would have drained himself something awful.

either way roy jones kos him early.

Roy definitely defeats Nobody because Nobody can defeat Roy.

But Usyk would. Defeat Roy, that is.

But he couldn't stop and had a very difficult fight with Michael Hunter, who is good, but not in the class of Roy Jones? Can't stop, can't even dominate Hunter... but he stops and dominates... Roy Jones?

Usyk early KO, and that is even if Roy is on PEDs.

He beat 7 HOFers btw, but they were:
    • James Toney, which is a very good win but Toney was drained to within an inch of his life for that fight.
    • B-Hop when he was still a fringe contender and who still had a lot of learning to do, as seen by how much he struggled with Segundo Mercado after the Roy fight.
    • Mike McCallum in his 40s and at LHW.
    • The husk of Tito Trinidad.
    • Virgil Hill coming off of a dominant loss to Michalczewski.
    • The very average Vinny Pazienze (who shouldn't even be in the HOF), who was a blown-up lightweight with a broken neck chock full of an entire pharmacy worth of PEDs just to bulk up to 168.

Good old Roy wants to draw attention to himself, I never liked him, Usyk would be too much for him and he would put him to sleep very early in a one-sided beating...

Usyk's always had problems with northpaws, of which Roy is one.

No I do not, I like Roy far more than Usyk, it isn't even close TBH. I've also said there are actually a number of HWs and CWs Roy could've beaten, Usyk is a bridge too far. Usyk was too big..................and too good. Roy's legit limit at being able to perform at an ATG level ended at LHW. This means yeah, just simply being who he was and how he operated as an ATG, his ability alone would allow him to outshine average HWs and CWs..........................but not someone who's a top 1-2 CW and very likely a top 10-15 HW.

I think the Roy that fought Ruiz is more than cagey enough to survive Usyk, he ain't beating him.

Hunter was iron-chinned and has never been off his feet, let alone knocked out, which includes campaigning at SHW in the amateurs for much of his amateur career in the senior ranks against giants like Greedy Belly, Cammarelle, Fat Andy, Islam Timurziev among others

Roy's chin is so fragile he could get knocked spark out running through cobwebs

Roy has literally beaten ONE world class boxer above 175 and that was the very stylistically favourable match up Ruiz and Ruiz wasn't even allowed to fight his usual hug and maul fight by the ref

In fact, Roy hasn't beaten anyone remotely close to world class North of 175 other than Ruiz

 Roy didn't say that did he? I feel like I kind of remember it now but surely he of all people can't have said that

Roy literally has the worst chin I've ever seen not only of any boxer or combat sports athlete but of any living creature. A 15% Wlad jab would send him to the shadow realm

Man. I know that no one wants to hear this, but but Roy would have outpointed and boxed his way to a decision. Roy was Prime until he wasn't. His decline was probably the most Dramatic we've ever seen. He literally went from untouchable to ktfo overnight. And there's no way anyone can tell me it wasn't from that muscle gain and loss from heavyweight back down to light heavy.

    ROY THE GOAT

Roy Jones says that he would win to Usyk in his prime. His prime is LHW (what's sure is that it was not HW).

Anyone putting his money against prime roy at LHW is a fool, and it doesnt matter if it is Usyk the oponent or God himself.

Could Usyk have made LHW? maybe. Would he win to RJJ at LHW? I very much doubt it.
