G.A.R VS Duarte would be a hell of a fight, make it happen.

Good very competitive fight but Duarte was a clear and deserved winner.

I'll take my pitty pats over your supposed effective aggression.

It was scored by the professionals properly....it was a close fight.

Sims messed up man he had something going in the middle rounds controlling distance with great crisp counter punching - catching & shooting,
But he couldn’t keep it up, was slapping toward the end & couldn’t get his back off the ropes.
Ended up doing more catching then shooting in the later rounds Duarte is a terminator.
Wilted sims he did. So fair play to Duarte.

Just caught these fights, main event was a good tear up, felt Sims was going to succumb to Duartes volume but he impressed me in staying comepetivive till the end, and still having good - if economical shot-selection. But Duarte won the fight for sure.

Prograis and Diaz both need to retire. Said it on the Haney fight, and again on thread bashing Taylor; Rougarou left something vital in the ring in that fight with Taylor, he has not been anywhere near as fluid since, and his punch resistance is nowhere what it was.

Prograis´ head movement is completely gone. He used to actively slip during the entirety of the fight. It was his way of holding an active guard and it allowed him to hold his hands so low, and it also meant that he was defensively responsible at all times. It also worked as a feint and forced his opponent to think the entirety of the fight.
All of that is gone now. He simply stands tall and relies on his old reflexes instead.

Just caught the main event now. I had it for Sims. Do people realise that punches on the gloves and arms aren’t scoring punches? And that coming forward and throwing more doesn’t automatically win rounds? They both threw a very similar amount of punches but Sims landed clean, most of Duarte's punches were partially blocked or were slipped.

It wasn't a robbery, it was close, but Sims clearly did the better work throughout. People just give a fight to the aggressor now regardless of what happens.

I knew something was up when the commentary starting talking about what a good 11th round Duarte had when that was literally the clearest Sims round in the whole fight.
