    It goes both ways...

Zhang could bang like almost nobody else, and generate it seemingly from nowhere.

At the same time, his record against top-200 heavies is 3-3-1.

Now sure, yes, he's old... But I can't believe the other 194 or so guys wouldn't fight him, can you? Heck, I can't believe 94 of the top 100 wouldn't, either...

He stepped up very late, so it's hard to be certain what he could've achieved in his prime - but that's his fault, eh?

Not necessarily meaningless. True champions have fights like this, where they just keep on the momentum going. Look at Klitschko brothers, they had a lot of these fights.

In addition, I think Usyk has just a couple of fights left. Parker, then Kabayel and he can calmly retire or just make one last Tyson Fury fight for tons of money and then retire. I don't see any other match ups as per now. Would be interesting to see Jalolov but I feel like rather Jalolov might take over the division after Usyk's retirement and they never face each other.

Honestly I'd say Usyk takes more PEDs than Parker to keep up his crazy camps at his age, not for bulk, but stamina and recovery.

Parker had terrible strength and conditioning before, his transformation is about actually having proper S&C for the first time in his career. I don't think it can be understated how different his S&C is, with how bad it was its a low key miracle he fought at the highest level that long. Also if you know Samoans you know they put on size like nothing.

That is not to say I don't think Parker is on PEDs, I think he is, just not pumped full of them to achieve his size.

I'd be very surprised if any of those fighters beat Parker tbh. Itauma is still green, Opetaia is a cruiserweight not tested at HW and Jalolov isn't even active as a pro.

I mean Usyk can do whatever the f*** he wants really. Hes the number 1 P4P boxer, let alone in his division, and has proven it time and time.

He could retire now and still be regarded as an ATG. But if he were to fight again, Parker would be the man to fight.

A stupidly meaningless fight for Usyk would be a trilogy against Fury.

It's another scalp against a top contender and arguably the #1 challenger on merit who he hasn't faced yet.. so of course it's not meaningless. That being said it would probably end up being a fairly easy fight along with Kabayel(who some think would be a tough fight) Usyk isn't a slow moving static target. He'd box circles around Kabayel.

Hey, Parker is the guy who went life and death with Jack Massey, right? Yeah, Usyk totally needs to fight that guy otherwise he's a duck, his legacy is ruined, blah blah blah.

Parker deserves to be Usyk's next opponent. Anything can happen in boxing, but I don't think he has much of a chance - at best he might be able to go the distance and do well enough to be gifted a decision, but I think that's unlikely too. I see it as an 8-4 or 9-3 decision for Usyk who might be content with a decision win.

If they both sit down on their punches as they did in their last fights, it would undoubtedly be a really fun affair.

I didn't actually mean to say kabayel brings as much as parker from a legacy viewpoint. I just think that both add to usyks legacy.

I know I argued a lot for Kabayel over Parker but not to say he is worth more to usyks legacy. It's just that I would find that matchup more exciting and have a soft spot for him since I didn't expect a top heavy to come out of germany for the next 20 years (expected Tom Schwarz caliber guys) and would love for someone to give boxing a push to rival mma here for a while.

What I wanted to say is that from a legacy viewpoint it I think it is actually worth it for usyk to fight both as opposed to ending his career right now.

I would be surprised if a loss to usyk would be enough to deter kabayel from winning another belt after that, unless somehow a few great heavyweights show up at that time. The same goes for parker.

Then having two wins over later world champions should add to usyks heavyweight legacy as he has had so few opponents (though the density of quality is unmatched)

Wasn't referring to fault when I said it was unfair. I was referring to the "not very good" comment. He is not so much bad as he is unbalanced.
