I think Ibeabuchi vs. Vitor Belfort would be a more interesting and competitive fight. There aren't too many on the senior circuit who shown that they still have somewhat of a respectable level of ability left. Outside of that there's Briggs and McCall.
Not defending Danny at all as he should have stayed retired after Chisora. But he suffered a horrendous cut in that Sidon fight which is why it got stopped. But I agree with your point. He’s said many times to us that it’ll be his last fight but he continues to do what he wants.
According to boxrec he’s down to face Jeremiah Milton August 23rd. Much better fight than the pole but another relatively easy stoppage win imo
Yeah, not bad. Dissapoinining that his last was a loss, but I guess its good as a stay...well...not busy... Ah, its all right.
This content is protected Lucas Browne fight this weekend has been pushed back a week and moved to a different city in the UK.
Hopefully this fight can happen before the end of the year (November or December): This content is protected
Whyte training in Portugal and looking in good shape can't be a good omen. Itauma's people better make sure the drug testing is very strict.
Okolie can spoil things. If i were kabayel handlers i would think twice taking this fight on. This could take down all of kabayels momentum ala bakole. Okolie wont let kabayel tee off on his body and will keep it long and is a master at smothering workrates of his opponents if need be
Won't be surprised to see British promoters try to match Okolie with Kabayel & Parker with Itauma. That way they can keep feeding Usyk British challengers. Didn't realise Britain is down to one world champ. Possibly none after next weekend. Little wonder they're keen to keep the heavyweight train rolling.
Apparently the Ibeabuchi-Williams fight is off. According to Boxrec, Ibeabuchi now set to fight Idris Afinni (18-8-2 15 KO) on August 23rd. https://boxrec.com/en/event/928340 Plenty of time for it to get called off too, of course.
Ended up being a No Contest after three rounds, even though four had been completed. Turned out to be a fitting prelude for what was a very disappointing event overall
