I know he fought Tubbs and Biggs and Thomas but let's say Bowe from 91-95 vs

    Prime

    Tim Witherspoon

    Pinklon Thomas

    Tony Tucker

You think Rock Newman is signing contracts for his guy going up against DKP fighters? Not happening.

Riddick Bowe in his prime cleans all those guys listed. It wouldn't be whether he would win but instead how quickly he would be able to dispatch those guys.

I would have like to see him more against James Smith, I'm very curious to see Bowe against a big-punching slugger.

OT: He probably beats all those guys by decision.

Considering Bowe barely edged past Tony Tubbs who was past his prime in a fight that some felt he lost I hard disagree.

That was 10 fights before he fought Holyfield 1! ;)

Bowe still won that fight fairly.

It was 1 year before he fought Holyfield and again stylistically Holyfield stood infront of Bowe instead of Tubbs who was a mobile boxer.

Infact some of those fighters if they peaked vs Bowe would have a good chance of beating him.

Bowe would have alot of problems vs Thomas's jab he couldn't deal with Golota's jab.

Witherspoon a skilled better defensive fighter with power to hurt Bowe.

Any of these 3 prime Heavyweights would be Bowe's 2nd best win of his career so let that sink in for a moment.

I could see Witherspoon beating him. Bowe had a lot of trouble when he was up against someone that jabbed consistently, and Tim could offset him badly.

Thats what Im saying. I personally thought Bowe lost to Tubbs.

People on her picking Bowe so confidently to win all these matchups doesnt sit right with me.

Sure he can win all of these fights and would be the favorite too but Im not so confident

Yes he won 2 out of 3 vs Holyfield who is an atg (although the last fight was kind of a fluke), its still 1 style.

Bowe had other good wins like Ferguson (just coming off beating Mercer), Gonzalez, Seldon and Hyde but he was managed pretty carefully

Id love to see how hed deal with someone like Tony Tucker or vs someone like Tubbs when Bowe was in his prime fully formed

Was that fight just Bowe not being experienced enough or was it a bad style matchup?

Bowe even had some issues vs Tyrell Biggs who was even further gone than Tony Tubbs was.

Bowe was eating alot of jabs from Biggs and was even badly rocked in the 3rd round.

The best Bowe has a shot against anyone. Really. He beats these 80s guys on their best day. I do however concede we rarely saw the best Bowe.

Tim Witherspoon The Spoon who fought Holmes was a h2h problem for many ATGs. But I think Bowe would outpoint him.

Pinklon Thomas Bowe was a significantly harder puncher and I kind of doubt Thomas could rattle him much. A fairly close but UD for Bowe.

Tony Tucker Tucker would have run away and clinched a lot, but gotten brained on the inside. A nice match up for action, but Tucker isn't really going to hurt Bowe much imo. UD or possibly a MD for Bowe.

He might have beaten them all. I’m skeptical about him beating Witherspoon but on the right night he might have taken him too

I don't know if he learned it from fighting Holyfield or he always had it.. but Bowe could take a licking and keep on ticking. The antithesis of 80's heavyweights. Other than Witherspoon and Holmes, Bowe pummels them all. He put some serious heavyweight leather out there (antithesis of Fury).

But why was he punch drunk, past prime, by the first Golota fight already? Sluring his words badly in the pre-fight promos. What a wasted talent.

I think a young Ruddock has a higher chance against Bowe than Timmy.
