Also Foreman was a teen in awe of his hero... he said HEAPS as you say.

Well he was a teenager and Liston was his hero... that should skew perception a bit aye? he also wasn't a 250-260lbs weightlifter on an 80's steroid stack back then...

Him talking about something that happened doesn't mean it happened in the way he described it, maybe he knocked tf out of Liston in 5 seconds and is just paying his respects to him, you can't possibly know. Its not my job to tell you why it might be a lie, its your job to convince me why I should trust your claim with these words with 0 proof at hand, that's how arguing works. Otherwise its not legitimate. You are being dumb on purpose.

Because that is what Foreman did. He bigged up other boxers.

But he wasn't explaining his experience against Fury now was he ? Just how he thinks it could go, but he feared Frazier and destroyed him, so that right there is proof it's still a false equivalence
    You've conceded
And yet there are several examples of Foreman telling the truth. So that's not enough to dismiss his encounter

He was explaining to the interviewer how his sparring sessions with Liston went and i don't question it because his opinion checks out, he described the event like how I've seen Liston fight and he described Listons well known traits

Because nothing he said about Listons abilities is questionable in the first place. We know he fights like how Foreman described. It's on film. He's detailing an encounter, not an opinion on someone he's never fought, and nothing seems strange about it, so give me a reason why he was lying, or I'm taking his word for it

Generally somebody who has practised a thing their whole life knows a bit about that thing.
 Jesus christ that's like Pimp C logic.
Yeah and for like the 10th time, he was a green fighter if those dates check out.

Did he fight Fury, yes or no
And Liston was old so it balances out if you want to go there

Absolutely nothing Liston did in the ring shows or even remotely implies that he could boss Foreman around the ring. Its very questionable that a guy who couldn't even dominate the clinches against Eddie Machen and a skinny 60s Ali can randomly manhandle Foreman. You are just talking in circles because you don't have any proof. Do whatever you want, just know that what you are doing here is laughable and no one is gonna take this stupid argument seriously. Cheers.

Any idiot would like your replies because you're dishonest

He doesn't have to manandle Foreman to back him up or outbox him. Lyle backed him up with power alone goofball and Lyle isn't as technical as Liston nor can he prosecute a fight with just a jab

He also wasn't a fat old man with tree feet, slower hands and watered down reflexes.

Prime Foreman is debatable. Liston batters old Foreman like a punching bag

OH YEAH? Well did you ever spar Liston to see how 'old' he was??? Yes or no?

OMG how can you make these claims without backup?

I sparred with both prime Ali and Jarrell Miller (Im pretty old) and I can confidently tell you that Miller would outbox Ali.

They sparred a year before Liston retired. You aren't smart enough to put two and two together ?
