Itauma is being prepared as the next big thing, and Al Turki probably has plans about him. Itauma by KO in 3, Whyte takes a dive.
Man I forgot how washed Whyte looks recently compared to how he used to look. I hope he is back on the good stuff to make this fight more exciting. If we get a vintage Whyte, Itauma could be in for a hard night.
I simply don't see a scenario where Whyte beats Moses. I'm not sold on Moses, I think he's far beyond R Torrez for example and probably Jared as well................but again still not sold. I don't think this Whyte gives much pushback though
Itauma puts Whyte to sleep within two rounds, the fighter who struggled with Ebenezer cannot threaten Itauma...
Nice observation on the uppercut Im hoping Whyte can at least provide a test. Itauma is moving fast but we really need to see him tested
I think Ituama actually has faster hands than a young Mike Tyson did. And the power is there, he's blasting dudes off their feet with single punches. How's his chin, stamina, and heart? Guess we'll see. Whyte may prove that chin test.
Can't argue with Rummy's reasoning on this one, I think Whyte has the quintessential punchers chance only. I agree with the prediction, Moses by KO though I think he will be a bit more cautious facing a legit puncher and might show some patience before ending it around the 7th or 8th round . I'm curious about the odds for this one as well.
Problem with this line of logic is Whyte has put in subpar performances against no-hopers in tune up fights throughout his career. But it is hard to give him the benefit of the doubt here based on age, lack of quality performances as of late and Itauma passing the eye test thus far. If Whyte shows up in shape and has something left in the tank and doesn't get bombed out early it could be a tough fight for Itauma.
It very well could be.................but I have to question how much Whyte has declined at this point. It's not that he historically didn't have power, it's can he even put himself into a position to test it? That's why my original comment said "4 years ago", that's how long ago he iced Povetkin in the rematch
