I go back and forth on this one, and would love to add Uzyk to this list but he is not done yet. I think Fury is going to fight again but I will add him anyway.

    1. Ali
    2. Tyson
    3. Vitali K
    4. Foreman
    5. Fury
    6. Lennox
    7. Holyfield
    8. Wlad
    9. Dempsey
    10. Louis

    11. Frazier
    12. Jeffries
    13. Marciano
    14. Holmes
    15. Tunney
    16 . Liston
    17. Bowe
    18 Max Schmeling
    19. Baer
    20. Patterson

P4P Is wildly different and all time is even Moreso.

    1. Wlad
    2. Usyk
    3. Lewis
    4. Vitali
    5. Louis
    6. Tyson
    7. Fury
    8 Holmes
    9. Ali
    10. Bowe
Wlad would probably be the best against smaller fighters but I think Usyk is adaptable enough to do well against almost everyone. Ali is overrated H2H imo so are all his competition but thats definitely going to be a hot take.

It's curious to me to see Fury being rated so highly. It has been curious to me to hear people say, for years now, that he is some type of super skilled prodigy.
He is big and he can move without falling down, though he has punched himself in the face. His fight with WK was very possibly the worst fight in history yet people view it as a master class. That has never made sense to me. He beat Wilder and Wilder was possibly the biggest one trick pony in the history of boxing.
Tyson Fury is big and, these days, people equate size with skill. With Fury, what he was really good at- one of the best ever- was looking like he was doing a lot while doing nothing. That worked well with a shot WK and they stunk out the building. It worked with Wilder but, because Wilder had a hard right hand, nobody ever taught him how to fight.
If there is a modern super duper sized heavyweight that would get taken apart by an old time much smaller, much faster heavyweight, it is Fury. Louis would take him apart because he would hit him hard often and clean and would finish him when he was hurt. For the most part Fury has fought guys with very low skill levels with the exception being Usyk; you can argue for WK but I defy you to show me one flash of skill or ability demonstrated by WK in that fight.

Fury is at his best when he’s doing his Ruiz impression mauling, hit’n holding, laying on guys… if he uses his size he does a lot better then his hack attempt at being Walcott, Ali or whoever he says he’s inspired by this month… Hamed at one point.

Fury had Uzyk in trouble a few times and Uzyk is absolutely incredible as an athlete and ATG. , Fury was not really at his best either.

I agree with you on Louis being a tough fight for him.

Fury had that style that could confuse and he always had a good plan. He could move and would get himself up from knockdowns. Fury is tough for anyone. It would take a speedy combination puncher to catch him and take him out. Louis is known as a giant killer for that reason.

    1 - Usyk
    2 - Holmes
    3 - Fury
    4 - Ali
    5 - Lewis
    6 - Wlad
    7 - Vitali
    8 - Holyfield
    9 - Foreman
    10 - Tyson

I tried to make a list based on how these guys would fair against each kind of style and opponent, so a lower name can beat a higher name.

The bottom 3 very well could be replaced with the likes of Foreman, Liston, Wlad

What about if Wlad isn't allowed to hold as much? If he was around today the refs would be stricter on him no way would the Povetkin type fight be allowed.

This is interesting, as I always tried to make my own lists based on 50% H2H and 50% Resume. But, as I'm adding my "proper" heavyweight rankings in brackets afterwards to show how much they have gone up or down on this H2H list, it's making me reconsider some.
    1. Ali (-)
    2. Liston (+3)
    3. Foreman (+3)
    4. Lewis (-1)
    5. Tyson (+2)
    6. Louis (-4)
    7. Holmes (-2)
    8. Usyk (-)
    9. Holyfield (-)
    10. Wladimir K (+2)

    And then...
    12. Vitali K (+2)
    11. Wladimir K (+1)
    12. Frazier (-2)
    13. Bowe (-2)
    14. Fury (-)
    etc...

    I wish I could 'Like' this a 1000 Times...

Fury IS an Insult to BOXING, nevermind the HW legacy, in fact, as I have said many times, the Giant SUPER Heavyweight Division needs it's OWN Supbar Division and for the 1st Time in Boxing History, the Only Division with a Height Limit attached to it...

    6' 5" and over and 225 / 230lbs plus...

that way 'normal' size Crusiers & HW's might, maybe, just be looked at with admiration & RESPECT again, as it was Once Referred too, "as the Greatest Prize in Sport.

the SUB Super's have to go !
