    August fifteenth in Beijing. IBO international super featherweight title at stake, 1st defense of Xú.

    Belmedi has only fought outside France thrice before - and he's 1-1-1 in those contests. This is a homecoming of sorts for Xú, having not competed in Beijing since 2016.

    It will only be Xú's fifth time lacing up since late 2019. He fought zero times in 2020 (understandable, Covid-19 and whatnot, him being Chinese) and once in each of the subsequent years 2021-2024. Presumably this will be his only 2025 appearance. Belemdi has fought as many bouts in the last seventeen months as Xú has in the last 69.

    Can Xu by unanimous decision, he is far more technical. But his end of career is a shame since he lost his WBA belt...
