Crawford does better than expected and wins rounds, but is eventually stopped. As a Bud fan I'd love to be wrong though.

Yes, Canelo won't win a decision against an American boxing star in Las Vegas. He'll need a KO to win.

I think Crawford by decision is a safe bet.

I doubt it, Canelo is still the more bankable star and the A-side, especially in Vegas. Crawford actually got fair very close scorecards in the Madrimov match, that would've never happened when he was with Top Rank or if he'd gone with PBC. Remember, Bivol won literally every round against Canelo, and was still almost robbed. Also Turki values Canelo more than he does Bud, he signed a multi fight deal with him and not Crawford.

I can't see Canelo being knocked out and I can't see Bud being stopped either. One has a ridiculous chin and the other too high a fighting IQ for stoppages but I also can't see Bud losing a decision. Bud by UD or MD

Interesting that it's very even in the votes so far.

This should be a no-brainer. A fighter coming up two weight classes, and having fought only once at the previous weight, shouldn't beat someone as good as Canelo, arguably at his best weight.

But Crawford is great and Canelo has showed signs of slipping over the last few years. Crawford fights so rarely that it's hard to say with him, but he's certainly no spring chicken himself. He might have more left, though, and is also more versatile as a fighter than Canelo.

That's what speaks in his favour.

Canelo's edge isn't that he's going to be bigger in the ring (they will probably be around the same weight), but that he has grown into this size more naturally and have much more experience of fighting at this weight.

I lean towards that this will be enough, but it definitely isn't impossible that Crawford can handle his power and outbox Canelo through superior skills and reach and height advantage. My bet is he won't, however. He has never showed the pure boxing acumen of a Bivol. His ability to hurt his opponent has been a part of most of his wins and I don't think he hurts Canelo.

So Canelo for me, but I don't at all discount Crawford's chances.

Canelo- UD. I think Crawford will give it a good go. I don't see a KO in this fight.

Vargas Jr TKO. Toughest fight if his career against Walsh, but I think he will come through in dramatic fashion.

Mbilli TKO. Lester is a ferocious power puncher so anything can happen in this fight. Great fight.

This is a pretty good card tbh, I'm pretty hyped up for it.

Madrimov, Bivol and Golovkin were not American boxers. I thought Madrimov won a close decision over Crawford, who received a gift decision as expected.

I've never seen a foreign boxer favored by judges over an American boxing star, and I doubt it will happen in the future.

I've seen many, many foreign-born boxers robbed against American boxers in the USA (Holyfield-Lewis I, Ward-Kovalev I, etc.).

Canelo has been the A side in the past, it's true. But this time, he's the B-side against a privileged American boxer, so the officials won't be kind to him. Wait and see.

I voted: Canelo by KO. Upon reflection I believe that it might go the distance but still a win for PED head - corruption (being the money man) and probably still having enough the tank to genuinely outpoint Bud. Canelo only struggles in this fight because he's deteriorating as fighter due to age and the number of fights he's had. As much as I hate Canelo's money-man corruption, the guy is purely elite and tbh he's cemented himself as an ATG.

Crawford's been put down by smaller guys in his time and is jumping up 2 weight classes. Retirement fund for Crawford really isn't it (cash grab)? Fair play to him, he's making bank & intergenerational wealth.

Madrimov did not beat Crawford. Crawford outlanded him in total punches, jabs and won more rounds. Even power punches wasn't a big gulf. All you do is hate American fighters even when Clenelo is on the other side

Alvarez decision in a forgettable fight which no one is happy with, except the two guys walking out with bags.
